give it a year before you start having electrical problems, everything is left out in the open. is everything waterproof??? motors, connections, etc.....
@MrPoonasty The AMP steps can go lower with extensions from a 3rd party. Give AMP a call and ask them and if they don't have an in-house solution they may be able to refer you elsewhere.
@GQJake81 I agree, they could have easily made a new cover with some bottom protection instead of including that piece of crap flat plastic. I haven't looked up the price yet, but I bet it's pretty ridiculous
i've always wanted these since i first saw them, and they're not much harder than installing stationairy nerf bars.. just make sure you don't have a 4 year old named Wyatt helping lose nuts for you when you install them.. lol very very cool install & vid!
Had em for 2 years, 0 problems! Love them...

@FGTony Everything is well protected and sealed. I have had PowerSteps on trucks for over 8 years without any problems.

so why do you have to replace the wiring harness cover with.....a piece of flimsy plastic that doesn't COVER anything....?
GQJake81 1 year ago
@GQJake81 There is a clearance issue with the stock one so it has to be replaced.
