Second, and don't take this the wrong way, but is there even such a thing as a "good" punk band, let alone 100 "better" ones? I love punk, but punk has never been about being "good". It is about anyone being heard, regardless of talent, looks, money, style, all that fake shit. Punk music is made by the punks, for the punks, and some of them punks suck at music, but kick ass at punk. Punk music is an oxymoron.

While I am aware everyone has their own opinion, the social statements and big middle fingers they give to the normal and government are actually pretty defining in terms of punk. But then again, punk is a mindset and not what you hear when you listen to music. It's all too subjective for anyone to give a set and unbiased answer.

The brilliance of this band is only overshadowed by how under rated they are as a great rock band. To merely call them a punk band would do them injustice, although that was their medium.  I feel they transcended the medium and made it something more, much more.
