Graphics are amazing. The story is very linear, but once you finish all the missions it's complete free roam. Overall pretty good game IMO.

This was the worst game I have ever played. You go for about 5 minutes trying to get to an area just to find out that there's a waterfall in your way. You then have to turn around go 5 minutes back and go the other way. 5 minutes later you find out you are blocked by a giant metal cage. Turn around go back to the starting point and go in the third and final direction. 8 minutes later, get to the person you wanted to talk to, talk for 3 minutes turn around and go back to your starting position.

this is a really great game...its been a while since i played it but i beat it 9 times (once as RDA and 8 times as Navi). the last time i played it i beat the game in under 3 hours, which i consider an improvement because my first one was like 13 hourss. the controls were a little weird but i got used to them. by the last time i played it, i had already mastered every mission in the game.

as for the game, it's not bad, the human campaign was more fun, i must say, i liked the choice of weapons and armours, but the Xp/ level up system was kinda crap, i was very aware i was playing a game, which isn't how i feel about things like RDR and Fallout 3, some minor changes would make it A LOT better (e.g: bodies don't melt away, characters have red blood, not flourescent blue, no "+50 XP" signs and character creation, all those guys look kinda weird.) but in 3D, this game is VERY good.

Avatar's plot was the classic "hostile takeover/ oppression of the indigenous" kinda thing, but it's still a solid storyline, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, and coupled with THE best special effects, it just makes for a unique (possibly life changing) film.

i think the campaign is good, (sometimes gets a little boring) but the multiplayer feature is really bad, it's almost impossible to get far through the map without getting killed

I actually love this game and despite a few minor frustrations I gave it a 9/10. I loved it just as much as I loved the film. I tend to see when you play as the Na'vi the RDA are a bit to overpowered, but it's fairly easy to overcome and dominate them.

Very rarely can video games made after a movie can be good. Even the frame rate doesn't look that god. Honestly a game like this should've been edited with Bioware or even created by them. They would've definitely done a better job.

this gam is just AWESOME!! i was expecting a shitty game, and got a behemoth of cool.

1. you Will get side tracked to one side in solo game and multi player

2.the controlls are fine... but you will get used to them

3.sure, the weapons kinda sucked for Navi,but humans have less health and less abilitys, making the game evened out

I absolutely 100% agree with this review, I really did often find myself bored with the game and the missions, and yes the controls did frustrate me a little bit.

Only thing I can say is that it's AVATAR and the graphics are great.

Final Note: I do wish that this game had the original storyline from the movie, though when I finally found out that it didn't, I was extremely disappointed because I bought the game only just to play the original storyline from the movie.

@Zueluzz its not an amazingly bad game, yeh it gets a little tedious after a while, but if you stop and instead of playing the storyline and instead go a do all the missions in each area and truly explore the game its quite nice.

and to be honest i like the Navi and the races aren't unbalanced because the RDA have to get reasonably close to get the full advantage while the Navi on the other hand can take out most targets from afar and then move in to clean out the rest.
