A great movie!! I love it. I have seen this filming location several years ago. It still looks the same! Where was the lake seen/bait shop filmed at? Just curious. Thanks for posting!!
Hi Warren: thanks so much for taking the time to answer my posted comment. I was pleasently surprised to say the least.
I had a few quick little questions?: When did you actually visit this famous shooting location? I see plenty of snow - was it this year 2009??. And also : when you were there - did anybody mind you filming?. I would think not ! - but you never know.. Have you & friends been to Wabasha's Museum honoring the two movies..Thanks again for posting this video, wish you had more.
Thank you so much for sharing this footage of you & friends, visiting a very famous location for "Grumpy old men"..
I envy you because - you actually had the chance to stand where parts of the movie were shot.. I'm a big Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau fan, and someday I plan to take a trip there with my wife.. I grew up in Minnesota (Winona) and really love this movie.. For me it would be like standing on sacred ground, in a way. Once again thanks so much for sharing.
