This band is remarkable in how they have blended visuals, music, and visual multi-media software to evolve the overall pulse of the 'Neurosis' effect.

Their brilliant concept of releasing a Neurosis album overlapping with their alter-ego Tribes of Neurot is unheard of. I can't think of any band that does this.

Saw them back in 1995, Halloween, Chicago, opened up for GWAR! They started with this song. The stage was dark. 2 dudes start that drumming intro along with the drummer, it is almost hypnotic. They had a large screen behind them too with weird video / photos (was less common back in the mid 90s). We were all in a trance, not knowing what to think...then when they just start jamming on those heavy guitars! I think I pooped a little. The sounds, the visuals, it is like heavy Pink Floyd, almost...
