Hey there! I had a question for you. I'm in week 5 class 1 and am having the ball settle in the half pipe like yours. I was wondering how you got the nice eases as the ball rolls up the sides of the wall. I have my Y translate arced so the ball rolls smooth on the surface, but it's like a reverse ball bounce. Where the spacing near the bottom is close together, but near the top when it should be slowing the spacing is greater. Didn't know if there's a systematic approach, or just trial and error
@jadeinshades I dont remember using any special trick or systematic approach. I know you have to fight to keep that ball on the surface during a move like that. And dont be afraid to key every frame during the settle if you have to but do that last. Sounds like you are on the right path.
@markderidder Alrighty, thanks man. It's coming together. Seems like I had to focus on the Z translate first to get that subtle ease side to side, then just focus on getting the Y translate right so it isn't floating over the surface. Thanks for your quick reply, I really appreciate it! :)
