  • Hey,

I've recently visited St Mary's with friends, one of the most haunting places I think I will ever come across!

Do you know of any other good `spooky` places around northumberland?

    Anything would be great!

    Cheers! :)

  • @AndrewBradleyMusic nah sorry am fae scotland, only been to here and cherryknowle hospital

  • @TeEnZiE Ahhh I see, thanks anyway! :)

  • @AndrewBradleyMusic

Hey im from northumberland and im wanting to have a nose about st marys, is it easy enough to get into, and is it as big as it looks on google earth??

  • @craftycaveman Hey, it can be difficult to get in as they have 24hr security snooping about. We struck lucky last time as it was a bank holiday and there weren't any guards.

    Oh and it's massive!

  • iv played rugby there

  • must have been some pretty sights on that drainer

  • 0.29 is a human autopsy table. Similar to a one used by the Nazi's. It's the same one as the one in the Imperial War Museum. Why would they have them in there for?

  • building site now! absolutly gutting. used to love riding my horse around the place, so peaceful... but slightly creepy!

  • @vikkilouiseee whaaaaaat? did they bulldoze this place? if so its so sad :( it was beautiful. i would have restored it.

  • @xoxWHYMExox A lot of older buildings have asbestos or wood that's been treated with lead, and it's just not safe. It's cheaper and safer to tear them down.

  • I love exploring old abandoned places like this!

  • @mohammedscrewskids Haha you accuse people of being trolls and have the handle mohammedscrewskid. Get a life and look in the mirror to find the real troll.

We've smashed shit up in loads of abandoned buildings. You have done nothing... unless you are going to admit to screwing kids... which I wouldn't put past a retard such as yourself!

  • i see beautiful antiques!

  • still in good condition.........

  • O M G

    the mortuary..

scary, creepy shit went down on that table.

  • scary, theres a hospital near me its still open but theres a little building that has mental patients there and i know one of them she can lift a wadorobe

  • you should come and explore the old abandoned train station in Llanelli :) ive been there once and it was really creepy!

  • @BILLMANDUDE - One other thing, if you do go be VERY careful because a lot of the floors on the upper level are too dangerous to walk over. For this reason, i wouldn't advise you to go at night, its too dangerous! Absolutely gutted there knocking down such a grand and beautiful building but it is way beyond the state of repair inside, it really is. :-(

  • @MsMonacos10 ah that

  • @MsMonacos10 whenever i go back to malaysia we used to go to this old abandoned school where my mother and auntie used to school at. it got knocked down along with the jungle cos of the stupid condominiums they built. it was really scary and creepy and really fun to go to! and we also went to some abandoned haunted hospital which got destroyed in a landslide or mudslide and hundreds of people died, then the japanese rebuilt it but another slide happened and more people died. its so cool there

  • @MsMonacos10 I've smashed a load of old floors and roofs in this building. We are only helping the demo crews do their job LOL

  • the front looks like a church. it's a beautiful hospital.

  • :P its an amazing place.

  • that autopsy table thing gave me the creeps.

  • I worked here for 12 years and it was a great place to work...

  • who knows how many poeple died in that place!

  • I remember this place well from my childhood, my Aunty worked there for years as a RMN. I drove up a few times to pick her up in my late teens when she couldn't get a lift home, I remember even back then when it was fully populated how creepy the place was and my Auntie's tales of the more dangerous patients and one I'm sure she made up about a Nurse being murdered by a patient who managed to escape into the grounds of the hospital, I never did ever find out whether that was true or not.

  • Yeah we are not exactly going to post vids of the smashing. Go to St Marys and you wil see the damage for yourself.

  • Inbred

  • Lol, have you got bored of chavving up your astra? Or did the filth turf you off the local park for underage drinking? New Wave Urbex smash ahahhaa. Do me a fucking favour. Little boys with nothing better to do than try and provoke a reaction. Come back when your balls have dropped.

  • how did you know i have an Astra?

  • i think i must know you, is that cheryl?

  • it's fucking mint man, smashing stuff

  • It is for chav scum who have no respect for history and architecture

  • you are a fucking spacka

  • Yeah i liked that too. But did anybody else notice the time had stopped at midnight?! Creepy!

  • You'll get caught if you go now, and prosecuted.

The owners Bellways homes have upped the security patrols because of the amount of people visiting, and the police have set up a scheme with the neighbours living on the site to report anyone immediately.

  • Well we spent all night there yesterday, arrived about 10pm and wandered around till 5am, saw nobody at all and we weren't exactly keeping a low profile. No sign of anybody.

  • i went today nd got caught by the guards he was a right twat we were bout to go in nd he caught us

  • me and six of my mate went there in the dark and got arrested by the police they sent dogs in and everything the place is well creepy tho

  • welli u were pure gan we're th shields boys n tht vids cummin soon n tht ... so u gt caught? u get any vids n tht?

  • me and my bf and m8 went up during the day and asked the guards about the place. they were really friendly and said we could go in and have a look around. the place is huge! it is amazin just lookin at the place. im not sure if the guards would let you in on a night time but they let us in! we keep trying to go back in at the night time but if you get caught by the wrong guard u r screw*d. Just be careful what you're doing if you do go up as the place is covered in aspestos. xxx

  • Security can be pretty lax there too. It depends on the crew. We've been there a few times and smashed up a pile of stuff, breaking all the toilets and sinks with concrete blocks etc. It's pretty good.

  • Been. NEVER going back.

  • Does this place have security & did you Ninja it or get permish?

Reason I ask is me a few heads were thinkn of going up there sometime around Halloween

    What do you reckon Teenzie?

  • TeEnZiE...if I ever come to the UK, I so want to meet you and go explore places with you! My husband and I have been talking about coming over there for a visit so I'll have to look you up! -Shannon

  • aye gimmie a shout if you are heading this way and I'll show you around some places!

  • Awesome! I'll take you up on that offer when we ever head that way! My husband and I have been thinking of Moving to England and I have been applying for jobs online so you never know when I might show up! LOL Thanks!

  • i came here today and we tagged all over the thing its well spooky and they got needles everywhere

  • Keep on trying, there's loads of stuff to smash up if you can get in!

  • Why? Whats cool about smashing things?

  • It's great fun smashing up these old places before the demo guys move in. That's what urban exploration is all about.

Heaving concrete blocks through doors and walls, smashing sinks and toilets etc. And of course we are creating a rich tapestry of ever changing destruction for successive urbex groups to look at .

  • I guess... :)

  • I will say that not everyone likes it and if a certain place is to be preserved we don't smash there. For example at Severalls the wards will probably become housing, but they will be stripped anyway. Even so we don't smash there.

As a new wave urbex smash group we do study the history and future use of the complexes we visit.

  • Can't really complain, then :)

Besides, i can't honestly say that i havn't wanted to do that... Should like to sometime....

  • What a bell-end you truly are. What you really mean is you create a rich tapestry of ever changin glass shards and broken sinks for other urban explorers to trip over. You are a cock jockey of the highest order. 'New wave urban smash group', do me a fucking favour. Chav scum pikey group more like.

  • deathadder2006, chav scum pikey group i loved that comment and yes you are so correct he is truly a bell end.

  • @deathadder2006 What is wrong with smashing stuff up which is only going to get demo'd anyway? Loads of urbexers do it.

  • @CaraBrimleyRules Well urbexers don't. You on other hand spend your time posting comments saying about smashing things up (which you've posted for atleast a year) if you were smart enough you'd go on the demo day, but no, you're a keyboard warrior.

  • @TeEnZiE I'd say check out some of the channels which look at the reasons people explore and the reasons people smash stuff. Many explorers DO smash. That's a fact. There's no right to enter, and there's no right to break things but people who want to enter will often offer the excuse that they "take only photos" so it must be "all OK." If you want an example of a high profile urbexer who trangresses that, look at Rookinella from 28DL who takes stuff from buildings to sell on her ebay sites.

  • you should do som silent hill movie filming there... if they would let you...

  • I'd love to go here at night and do paranormal research..looks spooky in the day, I'll bet at night it's freakin crazy......

  • im just fasinated by stuff like this its just kool going through abandoned places and just going around checking things out it juss reminds me silent hill same with your slaughter house video hooks the fan everything

  • good.

  • makes me wonder why this person is visiting these places

  • Why?

  • I just thought a person with video making skills such as yours would want to make a video on a abandond hospital?. Is it haunted???

  • Urban explores visit for a variety of reasons. Mostly we just like to smash the places up.

  • pretendmosquito equals tossa.

  • @tayedrums1 fun it's adventure.

  • @tayedrums1

What a moron. Obviously the up loader is documenting history. I'm very thankful people like Teenzie document these places before they collapse of get torn down.

So much history needs to be documented.

  • we just went here today for photos. nice place. big maze really.. easy to get lost.

be wary of the floor in the main hall as it's starting to collapse. the morgue is fun though

  • stannington is near morpeth in northumberland england

this place used to be a mentle hospital with hundreds inmates its kind of remote tho people that used to live there sort of stayed there nurses by day drinkers by night had its own pub used to have student nurse's accomidation (female and male ) population that lived and worked there approx 50 maybe more massive place was even more creepy when inmates where there little old ladies that had children out of wedlock and people that killed

  • I wish I had buildings like this to explore but I live in Las Vegas where anyting more than 30 years old is imploded to make way for something even bigger and flashier. :O( Thank you for sharing your video.

  • again very nice

  • You could make an EXCELLENT music vid in that mortuary. Heavy metal of course. Glenn Danzig maybe.

  • Hey TeEnZiE you really like creepy things right. Overall you're videos are quite good, specially the camera angles you're using.

  • Very cool vid! I must get up there.

  • omg that corridor and the church would make one awsome location

  • thats the majic of europe right there.

  • where do you find these places?!!! there's a cool place called riber castle in matlock, it used to be a zoo but its derelict now, going this weekend!!!

  • Muy bueno el video, como molan los sitios esos a los que vas...

puta embidia, ojala aki hubiese sitios asi de guapos

  • Is that a person behind the door at 01:04?

  • Yeah it was, there was a old man outside lol - that's why my camera went low the ground, had to crawl past the window

  • @TeEnZiE ehm dude theres a person to the left at 01:06

  • @BILMANDUDE hahaa yeah, u can actually see him quite clearly can't you?? He's obviously camera shy. :-D

  • @MsMonacos10 hahaha wow! you replied to my comment two years after i posted it :) it gives memories from when i first watched this video :)

  • @BILMANDUDE Hahaha I know!! Better late than never.. ;-) Love looking round these old Asylums, i've been to a couple myself now, i've only got photos though! :)

  • @MsMonacos10 theres some at norwich (i dont live there, but my uni is there, i live just outside london) and i really need to go to some! i think i will with some friends when terms starts :)

  • @BILMANDUDE If you get chance, go to Denbigh Asylum in wales, it's an amazing / stunning building it really is. If you do go, there is fencing up and notices for security/dogs etc. If you walk along past the fencing there's a small wall you can climb on, really easy to get in. If u can't get in the front way, for whatever reasons, go over through the field and go around the back!! I believe they're knocking it down soon.. i need to go back cos we missed the chapel and the mortuary!! :)

  • @MsMonacos10 ah that does sound good! theres an abandoned hospital in norwich i think which used to be a mental asylum which is why i really wanna go there. i think its called hayes hospital. and it even has all the stuff still there. beds, syringes everywhere and if it still has the electrotherapy equipment and the hannibal face thing and that suit which locks your arms then thatll make it even more creepier and cool! :D

  • where do you find out about and how do you get in these places ?

i would like to do afew vids of my own like this but can never find anywhere like what you find.

    fantastic vid thanks

    please reply.

  • cool video! that slab is in really good condition! even got the drainage system to carry away the flueds! was there any bodie friges there? if i still worked in the morgue i'd let you have a look at a working mourge hehe smells bad tho

  • great vid.

  • what's that table used for?

  • Cutting up "deed folk" hehe

  • Oh you found somewhere!!! We had the kettle on standby waiting for you to call.:)

Thats a thick piece of china ware, makes me wonder how it never broke when people were laid out on it with no support either end.:)

  • could have went with a cup of tea! And maybe a full cooked breakfast :D

  • nice

  • OH MY GOODNESS! Great Job.
