Umm actually the way to fill up the secret garden is, you find red berries called "berry from the power tree" or something... Eating these gives you a bit more maximum stamina, but also it plants a flower in your secret garden. The more of these you get the better your ending! theres 12 in total I believe.

A bit late to comment but i'll do it as i just started watching this lp :) ; Can't you get one more planted seed per patch? Add the middle one and you can still reach all to water them.. Just leave one side(one square) open at the outer side top left right or down :p

The "special fruit" Is called a Power Berry, and you get them automatically in most games, once you find hidden spots like that. When you get a Power Berry in most games, you get a flower in your secret garden... at least, that's how it is in a majority of Harvest Moon games. I don't have this one, so I dunno.

I use zsnes and I got the rom from my friend, same with the final fantasy one, too.

No, it's just a file on my computer, lol. The game files for the zsnes are called "rom"s. Don't ask me why, haha.
