i own all 3 consoles, and a capable pc, i can safely say that the wiis graphics are crap. the games you have shown here look good for a wii, and thats it. for instance, compare the force unleashed on the xbox and the wii. there is an ENORMOUS difference, right down to the movements due to the wii lacking the euphoria animation system, due to a lack of power.

such a lack of power can also affect gameplay. i was trying to play conduit 2, and the framerate was so poor it was almost unplayable.

Actually, Twilight Princess uses the same engine used for the game's GameCube version, and does not actually push the Wii to its absolute limits, like the two Mario Galaxy games did.

@PerseusLP You're wrong, a lot of games can be played in 3D using iz3d or tri-def even when they are not programmed to work in 3D. And not only PC games but also emulators.

One of the best examples is the second Metroid from Gamecube, it has an incredibly and almost perfect depth, with all the "virtual interface from the game" perfectly fitting above everything (it is supposed to be an interface samus sees from within her helm)

Also Twilight Princess or Wind Waker work pretty well.

Well, it's a completely different system, but you can watch anything in the projector at good resolution. And it is 3D capable, officialy compatible with nvidia 3d vision and uses dlp glasses (if you are interested, is an optoma hd67n)

I would say this kind of projector is a must have for anyone who likes cinema, anime and videogames. And if you don't mind 3D, then the full hd projectors are a must go

@PerseusLP I will explain about the 3D because I know this is a bit confusing. Though my goal is to make it work with Skyward Sword I already did with other games like Twilight Princess. When you use iz3D (in my case) before direct3d renders the frame, the iz3d driver forces it to render two frames from different point of view. It's something driver related and has nothing to do with the game. Direct 3D allows the driver to do that. So, basically, you can see ANY 3D content with 3D glasses.

you should try the WII-to-HDMI adapter from neoya, it makes your games look sharper, more defined and sound way, way better, the cable come s from hong kong, so it does takes a couple of weeks to get it mailed in the US. but is well worth it. Now it is not an upscaler, it still displays a 480p, but you hdtv will do the upscaling proccess for you, damn i wish i could show you guys, but i dont have a capture card, and there is only one video of this adapter on youtube but is in a foreign languge.

first of all, what games are you playing? you wave the controller in sports games which is what you would expect but not in other games! I suggest that you look around, read some reviews and buy the GOOD games for wii. The wii games with the best gfx looks pretty amazing and mario galaxy 1 and 2 belongs to that category and are VERY relaxing to play. All games except for sports games are relaxing to play. Check out wii.ign.com for example, check out reviews, what's coming etc.

trueish, the graphics dont really matter as long the gameplay is their. but the graphics are better in games intended for the wii than games that are for all systems, they just dont put the effort on their wii versions for some reason. but for games like carnival games the graphics are just bad.

this is also an awesome game. these graphics are improved but not with no mod or anything.

1. HDTV. this will give you better detail and color and such is your video games.

2. HD component wires. these wires send all the data the game has to the tv, (their more powerful wires then the one that comes with the wii). these wires work only on HDTVs and cleans the look smooth. you can buy these at gamestop, best buy (thats where i got mine), and etc.

all this HD stuff makes your wii games look like new, but if you dont the mario galaxy only slightly improves in graphics. which means Mario Galaxy is still going to look awesome. before i had all this HDness i had a wii and this game and i was amazed with the graphics, and its also a really good game too. i suggest to get this HD stuff if you have a wii. also wii play just to get a free game with a wii mote.

my computer had a virus so i couldnt reply but now, well you know. in the back of the t.v. their should be 5 color inserts. back in the day it would be red, white, and yellow. in HD it should be red, blue, and green for the image and red and blue or red and green for audio. if the audio colors dont match the one that the tv has that all right it would still work. if you have anymore questions just ask.

anyway, the wii got nice graphics. not really that compareable to the other two consoles, but if you compare it to the last generation, it is quite a big difference. all that packed into that little thing is quite amazing. you can tell by the sales numbers that the concept works, so shiny "shaders everywhere" 1080p graphics is not everything.. ;-)
