You would think that it is a real safety film and no parody until you notice that Klaus keeps working after the first accident, even accident #2 is realistic, too. The producers were happy to recruit speaker E. Hoesgen for the voice in the "off". He was the voice of a TV-programme on road safety for almost 20years and the sound of his voice automatically makes you think "Ah, another safety film".

He must have had a lot of fun helping to male this film plus some self-irony , of course.
