im not diggin the high pitched squeltch it does at higher rpms(@.13), it does have a nice idle burble, but cant match a nismo's low pitch growl. i am by no stretch of the imagination a ricer fan but may be getting a conv. z, saw it had a shiny exhaust can and will use it to claim its resale has been compromised. the sk2 sounds nice, its engine is limited but certain exhaust like invidia botch the car just like top speed did to this car.

this setup is only good if you are considering weight saving. It still maintains a y pipe configuration but its in no way a true dual exhaust what so ever. Some people like that kinda sound from their exhaust and more power to them. Personally i helped my cousin install it on his g35 with headers, non resonated testpipes, and 3in y pipe setup to a 3in axleback style like this one. Performance wise there was an improvement so to each their own. Take care.

its not a true dual so 3" is okay.. if you get 2.5 inch piping it wont sound as good as 3"... i been thru the 3" and 2.5 inch piping .. also if u get test pipes get high flow cats

The top speed exhaust IS a cat-back. The term "cat-back" means that the exhaust goes from the catalytic converters all the way back to where the exhaust exits the vehicle. Since I have the Y-pipe, my exhaust starts at the 2.5" cats, then goes to the 3" y-pipe, and then it's 3" piping all the way out.
