  • I like the studio version. It's not fair that I didn't get to see it.

  • Though I didn't get to watch this live, I can keep on watching this to learn. I like how subtle the music is when it'sdone on a fingerstyle. I can only strum this because I picked up from Neil Young. The original by Ian Tyson is very difficult for me. God bless!

  • i'd have to say you do a good job on this. all the open notes . it reminds me of steve young. if you haven't heard him give him a try. you could play his stuff well. similar styles. watch him doing seven bridges road. & btw. he was the writer.

  • Thanks for posting this, Bryan. I've tried for years to think of the name of this song or how it went, but I could never remember. I could only remember 1 line from it ("my good times are all gone & I'm bound for moving on.") You've given me back a great old song I thought was lost forever. By the way, you did a fantastic job with it!

    My dad was an old Nashville picker and I can remember him singing Bobby Bear's version of that song. If you've seen my vids, you know I usually do a different style of music but I love it all.
