  • @ohmyachingballs

Kiss - love it out loud.

  • @ohmyachingballs Dave Grohl is the fucking man, he should stick to drums. He's like a modernised John Bonham!

  • 2:55 the whole song is badass but this part til 4:00 is my favorite :)

  • When I first got my drum set i told myself I have to learn the intro. Today I finally pieced together the toughest parts, and I'm glad to say I can do it :D

minus the hi-hat bouncing through the whole thing, that throws me off almost fully :P

  • That is definitely Dave Grohl on drums!!!!

  • i can play it perfectly on the drums^^

It´s one of my favourite songs

  • how hard was it?

  • badass

  • i must learn that solo ^_^

  • Does drave grohl drum in this song?

Why did he start playing guitar? he rocked as a drummer.

  • Dave drums on the whole album. He learnt the guitar when he was like 10 to 13 years old. Then he learnt the drums which became his key instrument before joining, Scream, then Nirvana and then playing all instruments on the Foo Fighters first album. And yes he did and still rocks as a drummer.

  • Doesn't he also do drums for tenacious d?

  • Not sure, probably only certain songs or albums.

  • @0foofighter0 he played Satan in P.O.D

  • @0foofighter0 Dave drums on most of SFTD, but not the whole album (it's Trautmann on a couple of tracks). And I'm pretty sure he does most of the drumming (and some guitar work) on the D's first album along with an appearance on their second album.

  • I know he played satan in the movie

  • he does do drum for Tenacious-D in some songs. not sure which though.

  • @Elguidoswinnen I know he has played the drums for a few songs and he plays live with them some times too.

  • @Elguidoswinnen yeah and hes the devil in all their videos (movie aswell i think)

  • @Elguidoswinnen and he also plays solos for the D!

  • @Elguidoswinnen yeah on a couple sonfs i think he turns up in the movie as satan lol. tupe in "tenacious d dave grohl devil" and click the first vid

  • @Elguidoswinnen

ye he played the devil in in their movie as well.

  • @Elguidoswinnen yeah he drums for tenacious d and he also acts like belzeboss in the movie

  • @Elguidoswinnen He drums for them sometimes. But he did play the devil in the pick of destiny. He plays drums for Them Crooked Vultures right now.

  • @Elguidoswinnen He did Drums for Beezleboss

  • @Elguidoswinnen no, he did the move "The Pick of Destiny" in wich he played the Demon. and in the final song called "belzeboss" he played drums, guitar and singed as the "Belzeboss".

  • @Ka1okenn Actually he played drums on both Tenacious D albums, and played guitar and sung on Belzeboss, an he played guitar on one of the songs on the first album I think too...

  • Learnt?

  • @0foofighter0 he plays the drums with them crooked vultures now

  • @TheDec0Drummer

You do realize that his posts were from years ago?

  • @0foofighter0 dave grohl is fuckin awesome as a drummer and as a guitar player too!!!!nirvana forever!!!

  • @Fminus999 Dave is the drummer for all the songs on this album. he started playing a lot of instruments as a kid. he is just a natural musician. i agree, he is an awesome drummer and in my opinion, the best drummer ever.

  • the homage to Black Flag's 'Slip It In' from 0:37 -0:57 is EPIC,.. ~ T.Von

  • agree dude, im not sure if anyone even knows what you are talkin aboot

  • love dave and all his drumming, specialy when he plays in queens of the stoneage. The musik of qotsa is all good. thats something you cant find in many bands. The drum solo at the end is incredible!!

  • this track relly shows what a good drummer dave grohl is.

  • do they have 2 song with the same title?

  • No but they have

    A Song For The Dead,

A Song for the Deaf &

The Real Song For The Deaf

  • lik it

  • 5:13 "HEY!!!"

    awesome

  • Homme For Life

    420

  • "life's the study of dying; how to do it right"

    damn, they rock.

  • this is awesome, i like how it picks up

  • nice one but my fav is no doubt Go With The Flow

  • i want to know which kind of snare it's used for this song!?!? someone could answer?

  • who does vocals for this one, it's not Homme? Is it Lanegan

  • Yes, Lanegan did it. My favourite track on SFTD, thx for uploading it :)

  • My favourite track from QOTSA all round.

  • actually both do vocals in this song but mark is singing lead

  • Comment virginity stolen! Excellent song... I think it's fair to say rather more understated than the live version...

  • It is my fave QOTSA song, and the live versionthe Big Day Out one is incredible.

  • Have you seen the version from Pinkpop Festival (2003)? Great one :)

  • No but I love the one from the Big Day Out (2003)
