Enough about Dave Grohl like yeah he is a good drummer an plays good in this song but if it wasent fors Queens he what of never knew about this amazing song. So YEAH QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE !!! xD
Only just found out Mark Lanegan did the vocals for this, Hangin' Tree and God is in the Radio, as well as loads of other QotSA songs. I'm definitely gonna listen to more Screaming Trees
When I first got my drum set i told myself I have to learn the intro. Today I finally pieced together the toughest parts, and I'm glad to say I can do it :D
minus the hi-hat bouncing through the whole thing, that throws me off almost fully :P
Dave drums on the whole album. He learnt the guitar when he was like 10 to 13 years old. Then he learnt the drums which became his key instrument before joining, Scream, then Nirvana and then playing all instruments on the Foo Fighters first album. And yes he did and still rocks as a drummer.
@0foofighter0 Dave drums on most of SFTD, but not the whole album (it's Trautmann on a couple of tracks). And I'm pretty sure he does most of the drumming (and some guitar work) on the D's first album along with an appearance on their second album.
@Elguidoswinnen no, he did the move "The Pick of Destiny" in wich he played the Demon. and in the final song called "belzeboss" he played drums, guitar and singed as the "Belzeboss".
@Ka1okenn Actually he played drums on both Tenacious D albums, and played guitar and sung on Belzeboss, an he played guitar on one of the songs on the first album I think too...
@Fminus999 Dave is the drummer for all the songs on this album. he started playing a lot of instruments as a kid. he is just a natural musician. i agree, he is an awesome drummer and in my opinion, the best drummer ever.
love dave and all his drumming, specialy when he plays in queens of the stoneage. The musik of qotsa is all good. thats something you cant find in many bands. The drum solo at the end is incredible!!
when does he say "fuck it" ??
