  • what is that under you power supply?? I got this case second hand, so its missing some of the things that came with it...

  • whats the music ?

  • @exoticg9

    Tell me why - Supermode

  • @kevthajum Tanks alot.

  • Nice stuff good cable management.. I have about the same system,

i7 930, 12gb ddr3 1600 kringston xmp, 128ssd crucial xfx 5870 crossfire and of course a big cpu cooler. And my mobo is Aasus p6t se :) runs great!

  • wich PSU??

  • NOT ENOUGH FANS!

  • ottimo assemblaggio

  • beautiful case and setup

  • HI. I HAVE RADEON HD 5970 2GB. I WOULD LIKE TO GET ANOTHER CARD FOR CROSS FIRE. DOES MY SECOND CARD HAVE TO BE THE SOME AS MY FIRST ONE?

  • @uphill248

Quite simply yes. you would need another 5970 2gb, though i think it is possible to use cards that different amount of memory (the higher card reduces it own available amount to match the lower card) thay have to be within the same hundreds series.

For example i have 2 5870s in crossfire, but I could have paired a 5870 with 5850, but the only problem here is the 5870 would underclock its self in both Core and Memory speed to match the 5850, thereby turning the 5870 into a 5850.

  • @rhyswilliams999

As long as the second card is a 5970 and has 2gb of memory, it will work. Brand does not matter. (By brand, i mean the brand of the card itself, not the GPU, eg: XFX, Powercolor, HIS etc..)

  • @uphill248 YES

  • nice cable management

  • complimenti il pc è ben assemblato ottimo

  • I've got a BONER ;)

  • How many watts is the psu? btw, awesome rig.

  • Seems like the top GPU's fan is blocked by the bottom GPU. Hopefully newer MOBOs have more separation.

  • lol no ssd....FAIL!!!

  • @dr225rider get a rig like him then talk ? i have a powerful rig but i wish if i had another 5870 to go along with my current

  • Nice rig, i have the same one (Antec 1200) with Crosshair IV, AMD Athlon II 1055t, Corsair H70, 8Gb DDR3, 64 Gb SSD, 2 - 1Tb WD HDD, but only one Ati 5870. It still smokes though and rules in folding@home scores!

  • nice set up dude check mine out if want I got a pretty nifty setup as well. thumbs up!

  • whats that box under the PSU?

  • love your cable management, looks great

  • can a crossfire bridge over the crossfire (left connections), but not over the XFire (right connections) connectors cause a blue screen?

Since I just placed one over the crossfire while using xfire but not using the right connectors. I've only got 1 screen.

I've been told that the left are for crossfire and the right for xfire.

  • My god... this is a very CLEAN set up. Teach us your ways...

  • this is to fucking clean omfg...

  • Very Clean set. Nice. Greetings from Brazil.

  • antec 1200 is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why did you cover up the corsair logo on the power supply :o

  • 750 W is it enough for 2 hd 5870 ?

  • @nascashoI got a single HD 5870 on my pc and the windows experience index thing or what ever you wanna call it, i mean the part where windows rate your pc how good is it. i got 7.8 there with none overclock. since you got the video card in crossfire whats the rating? i would like to add another card. thnx

  • @plutoguerra

I've got that too, its not much better. I'll have a look when I get home. Only got a mobility radeon 5840 in my laptop :-P

  • damn my 1200 dont look that clean!

  • Antec 1200 Case isn't the case to have any more but I still like the shit out of it.

  • Qual o nome da sua placa mãe?

  • Damn, do i eveer wish i was this rich.

  • WOW, VERY NICE ! :) amazing colour scheme / cable management :)

  • I know this is an old video but I had to say GODDAMN that is some CLEAN WIRING there dude! Nice job on that.

Though I don't think you have nearly enough fans there on your Antec 1200... needs many more fans, yes? :P

  • how much does that uses energy 1000W?

  • cool dude!

  • can i run ATI RADEON HD 5870+5850 in crossfire?

  • @CallOFwar100 No u cant retard

  • @1337Buylken yes you can dumbass

  • @CallOFwar100 If you think you know, why did you ask?.... (also you really cant. I'm just trying to be helpful.)

  • @SpineShank7 rofl what an idiot

  • @CallOFwar100 No you cant noob, to run sli , crossfire u need the same cards idiot ;)

  • @CallOFwar100 yes , why u ask than, moron

  • Great vid, realy nice cable management. very tidy, im thinking of going CFX what kind of performance increases are you seeing? and do the card that you put in CFX have to be identical? e.g. i have a XFX HD 5870 XT would CFX work if i got a sapphire 5870 card and joined them or does it have to be another HD 5870 XT by XFX? many thanks. :)

  • Wow. Very clean. Kick ass rig.

  • hmm looks extremly tight between the HD 5870 =/ the card above runs very hot? right?

  • 1st VGA.....does not take air at all!!!

  • Great Rig, what kind of tems are you getting on the first card, also what kind of scores u getting on 3DMark Vantage? thanks

  • Stunning bit of kit! Like it ;-) wish my cable management looked that good!

  • nice rig

  • Nice clean interior--good job. I just upgraed from an Antec 900. Was considering the 1200, but went instead for the Cooler Master Haf-X--it;s a beast of a case.

  • What are the tempratures on both cards in idle and full load? It looks to me like the upper HD5870 is not getting enough air and actually choking. I guess you put em in PCI-E 2.0 x16 (x16 mode).

  • @MG5319 BTW don't you see any performance loss by setting those cards up at x16/x8 mode ?

  • i'd hate to see a solar storm wipe this out

  • Comment removed

  • hey mate , good work ;) nice pc , btw u dont use the case anymore ha do u ?? do u give it away ?:P so i could get a bigger case with cable management when ill get my i7. thanks man (y)

  • thats nice as mate!

  • very very nice build!

  • Dude, I just farted on all your fans.

  • Dude were do you hide all of yur wires cuz I just build myself a computer with AMD 1090t 6 cores, 5870 vwith vapor x cooling (not crossfire) but with my wires on the motherboard to my power supply to my DVD drive to my hard drive and my five 120 mm fans and one big 200 mm fan, theres wires just about everywhere, even after tying them all down and trying to organize everything it still looks jinda clutered, how did you do it, or do you just not have any thing plugged in yet?

  • Very nice cable management.

  • love trance music :-)

  • x16 or 8x makes 2fps diffrence seen it

  • epic rig man

  • Where is the third HD 5870? Crossfire X means 3 ATI Cards together. If there are only cards, it will be only Crossfire.

Also why do you use RAM with Watercool-Heatspreader without a watercooling system?

    Anyway a great system!

  • @MrBlackkoffee CrossfireX is current generation technology. It just means that the system will work with up to 4 GPU's. In this case it seems he's running 2 5970's and that is a total of 4 GPU's being used. Old school crossfire cards actually were specially marked as such and required an external cable to link them (a mutant sort of DVI if I remember right.). Not all, but most 4000 and 5000 series cards support scaling (CrossfireX). Low end ones don't.

  • @NoFreeTechSupport And it looks like I need to open my eyes and READ the description. It looked like 2 5970's at first glance, but turns out its 5870's. Oh well, my point is still valid that CrossfireX just means the system will scale to up to 4 GPU's and Crossfire is the old generation (I don't think the HD lineup, but previous to that...) In current use, Crossfire and CrossfireX mean the same. Unless your referring to a very old computer (Athlon FX era I believe).

  • nice cable management

  • you changed the front fans? can you still use the fan controllers?

  • nice u have intel

  • very nice !

  • nice rig man love the cable management and the case

  • Hey, I'm saving up some money to build my first ever gaming rig!!!

Well, I'm only 13 and still have ALOT to learn! :P

But, I decided to go for the ATi 5870 1GB card. But I can't decide which brand, I looked at Club 3D, but since theres hardly any reviews and not many people have experience from Club 3D cards. So that makes me a bit unsure about wether I should get it. Well... does it matter alot which brand I should get?

Anyways, I'd like someone to give me some advice/recommendation.

    Thanks

  • @runescapeglobeskate Oh btw, the reason I looked at the Club 3D card was because it's about 20,- euro's cheaper than most of the other cards :)

  • @runescapeglobeskate it doesn't matter when we look at preformance, but it does if you carry about: warranty, price, cooling, extras. I recommend you XFX for example.

  • @skibenz Well, you also mentioned cooling, and in my point of view, I think that kind of has to do with performance aswell :) but I just wanna know the reason why u recommand me XFX, just so I know WHY it's actually supposed to be better and stuff :)

  • @runescapeglobeskate Great warranty, tech support, you can replace fans and put WC on it and you will not avoid warranty, nice design, sometimes nice extras. But, if You want something cheaper - Gigabyte and stuff are pretty good too. I like XFX too as a brand - that's all :]

  • do you think that 2200 euros is a good deal for an alienware with i7 930 2,88 ghz, 12 gb 1333 ram tri channel, dual crossfire 5870?

  • how is your second CPU fan connected?

  • @Russ07 ever heard of molex? lol

both of those fans are just really good 120mm fans

  • @thespartenkid so you run the 2nd fan at full speed or adjust it, haven't tried a y splitter for both fans to go into the CPU fan port?

  • @Russ07 u just plug both of them into a molex

and they run full speed :)

  • i wish i dont get a defective case when i buy one

  • nice pc nice song xd

  • hey man this PC is great can you tell me how much and the specs of this computer thanks :D

  • The upper is not getting enough cooling? :x

  • DID U MOD THE CASE AT ALL? the 5870's will fit perfect?

  • Water-cooled ram with no water-cooling system? O.o

  • dont the 5870's get really hot when they're all sandwiched together like that?

  • it's so clean... it's perfect... a proper anons rig

  • What PSU are u using? A Corsair HX1000W or a Corsiar HX850W?

  • arg, gotta hate when you're pcie slots are so close together. It irks me to see graphics cards sandwitched together like that. Needs at an inch of seperation so the top video card can sufficently suck and blow air to keep it properly cooled.

  • Turn it on man !

  • whats that cooler?

  • VERY clean system you got there. awesome rig.

  • I'm confused about how the PSU should go in the Antec 1200, should I put it facing up or down? I see it both ways in many builds and I don't know which is better, If i put it down will the fan suck any air into it? since there is no PSU fan intake, But if i put it face up won't it suck the hot air from inside the case? I need help, i'm buying one soon.

  • whats the case???

  • so neat and cool!

  • Holy shit... nice PC ;]

  • verry sexy

  • nice cards and nice cable management.

  • Flawless Cable Management! A+++++++

  • @KTCRITCH FLAWLESS VICTORY!

  • i am planning to buy these cards and make crossfire

my motherboard is MSI 790FX-DD70 and my case is cm690

Will i have problems with the temperatures??u know??

  • Thats sickkkkkkkkkk- i was going to buy the Antec 1200, i have the Antec 900 right now but i need more room, its to cluttered with a mid tower and 4 hard drives with a full size GPU and CPU heatsinks. Your setup is very impressive.

  • That is a very good looking system you have there. I also like how you set up a leg mount for the PSU to stand up higher for better airflow to come thru the PSU fan and to cool the heatsinks that's inside the PSU. Good idea. The Ram is looking nice and those the heat spreaders that are already on them, you can mount watercooling tubes to them.

  • do you have any temp issues on the crossfire rig? FPS drop when the cards has been standing on for a while or something like that?

  • Is that a Megahalem cooler? It looks familiar, but i cant remember.

    Nice rig btw.

  • why you put a tape over the corsair sticker ?

  • What CPU cooler are you using?

  • in my opinion antec is the best producer of air cooled cases , which are used by gamers :)

  • i am going to build a gaming rig about 2 - 4 weeks any idea about what parts i should have ?

  • didnt even need to watch all the video..subbed right away! nice rig man..cheers!

  • Are all your fans the cooler master ones that are 90cfm, 18dba? Just a warning...those fans have about a 6-month life span and they vibrate. I have some in my HAF 932.

  • heres no need for an pcie 2.0 16x for a hd 5870, on 2.0 8x it still gets 98% of its power :D

  • What song?

  • O ok so the 2nd pcie doesn't run at x16 when nothing is populated in the 4th slot?

  • @genbowl

Nope, it's the way it's designed. Think of it as one of the only motherboards that actually have it "hard-coded". It sucks but trust me, from experience and trying out these cards and even GTX 260's in the 8x and 16x slot, there's little to no difference. Same goes with the GTX 260's in a 16x and 8x vs. a 16x and 4x config. Now if I still had that motherboard and tested it out with the 5870's in a 16x and 4x setup, the results would probably be more drastic.

  • @crazyredneckwifknife he can't space them out or 2nd card would run at x8 with his mobo.

  • @genbowl

It's actually at 16x 8x in that video. EVGA X58 LE (757) is configured to run at 16x/8x/4x/8x no matter what card is occupying a slot. The reason they're no spaced also is because at the time I didn't have a 100mm CFX cable.

  • @genbowl

You won't notice any performance loss, even at x4 you have enough bandwidth for these cards.

  • loving the setup very clean next time turn the beast on

  • gonna buy this setup, but with i7-930 and ASUS Rampage II Extreme. But will i need more than 750W PSU???

  • how hot must that first card get try spacing them out a bit or buying water blocks

  • very nice management.

what is this for a cpu fan?

ist it compatibel with am2+, am3?

  • cool

  • @965165150 damn boy...i just had my self a good laugh :'D

  • i almost got your case,, i liiked it

  • @965165150 and i repeat NERD RAGE! :) man you've gotta be stupid...

  • That is a really good-looking rig. I am jealous.

  • U gonna water cool that RAM??

  • @965165150 ahahaha!!! nerd raaaggeeeee! chill the fuck down man :P and yes i said more about it then you did so zip it ;)

  • apparently you dont...cuz it sure isn't state solid disk...its a solid state drive..cant say you gave alot of info about it to the one asking what it was either

  • Beast of a machine damn!

  • @965165150 actually its solid state drive

its a flash disc which yes is much faster then a harddrive

and yes its recommended to put your operating system on the SSD, it will improve performance alot

  • @roflhax Hey how can I transfer just my OS on a SSD? If not How do I delete the OS's (yes I have ubuntu and win 7) without the data on it? Do I just delete the partitions and the OS's will be completely gone? I got the installation disk for window's 7 so yeah...I just want my data on there w/o the OS and have the OS's on my 80gb SSD.

  • @TearsOfWar1 if you wanna "transfer" your OS to a different partition/HDD (or SSD in this case) use Norton Ghost..if you dont know how to use it, check out a tutorial on youtube or google..if you wanna skip all this, you can do a quick format while installing a new OS, this will keep your files in a folder on the disc named "windows.old" and you can also install a new OS on top of the one you want to remove. hope this helped you out, ask if you didnt understand something :)

  • @roflhax Does norton ghost work for ubuntu and windows 7? My uncle gave me a copy of norton ghost but it wasn't compatible with windows 7. I don't have anything on ubuntu really so it doesn't matter if I delete it but when I delete the partition for it, it won't let me go into windows 7 at all.

  • @TearsOfWar1 if it works with windows 7 or not, depends on what version of ghost you're using...download a trial version of the newest update on their website and try that instead. are you sure you deleted the right partition?

  • @roflhax Yeah I am positive. I heard something called CloneZilla and they claim to be a lot better than norton ghost and others. Should I give that a try as well?

  • @TearsOfWar1 i'd say watch a few tutorials and/or videos of the program and see if its worth a shot

  • i heard 5970's in crossfire are buggy?

  • Doesn't your top card get sufficated?

  • @Lionheart1188 The 5870 deals whit heat quite well even in CF

  • Ok sweet, cheers Bru!

  • Awesome build! I'm going to start my build soon as i get enough money...

    Also, what are SSDs?

  • that has to be the best cable managment i have ever seen! 5 stars for that! that is a monster :D

  • nice vid ; > i have an antec 1200 too, with core i7 and 5970

  • mate i have same game setup like you :D

  • i bought this case for 150euros

  • i have coolermaster HAF 922 and HD 5870 and Phenom II 965 :D, other computer has HD 4870, phenom II 955 and antec threehundred :D

  • he doesnt have the filters on thats what i mean i got a 902 and 2 r4 fans but with the filters on less air gets pulled in so i want to know if i need them or not

  • nascasho do you get much dust with no filters on those r4's? or inside the case

  • I have same fans and case with dust filters and yes you still get dust in them and after 4 months you have to clean it out because you can see dust collection on the dust filters.

  • purdy mutherfucker!!!

  • A real thing of beauty. You must have had a blast putting that together. I personally would have gone AMD all the way but very clean none the less.

  • oh man, you have a sweet ass rig.

  • thats hot

  • @ nascasho can u make a vid with the case on?

  • Amazing computer. Very neat and preety. I have a antec 1200 too, for me its an amazing case.

  • @ nascasho are those r4 fans better then stock?

  • Not enough to go out and buy 5-6 to replace them. They are quieter though.

  • @ BKsMassive yes the 5970 will fit in the 902 it goes into the HDD cage but its a good thing its close to a fan so air gets pushed into the back vents and cools it amazingly better temps then the HAF 932 with a 5970

  • way nice and clean!!!

  • cables nice and tidy. great job.

  • Beautiful cable management, kudos to that!

  • @

paultje162 no it just goes into the HDD cage witch is good. the fan will blow air into the vents

big temp drop in my opinion i will put a 5970 into my antec 902

  • Looks brilliant! I have the same case, and I love how you mounted your PSU. What did you use to prop it up with?

  • nice cabel management

  • how are you mounting your psu like that

  • is that i7?

  • Nice cable management.

I run a very similar system, but I can't run the power like that because the damn cables are too short. Whats the model of the PSU btw?

I got the same box and CPU heatsink. Run's amazing.

    Kudos on the awesome system.

  • Aww man u have the same shitty fans as me. Those CM fans are so loud.

  • Is that a megahalems?

  • what song is this? nice tune

I need a new rig, hate getting off-the-shelf-computers every christmas (I save up but family gets me a computer)

  • hey man, i've got £200 going spare. Should i get 2 XFX 4890's (Very cheap where i live, brand new) Or a single 5870 (Yet again, very cheap where i live)?
