after you relax your hair, what type of conditioning do you do to your hair? Do you deep condition your hair after a relaxer or you only use the aphrogee conditioner? By the way your hair looks really good I'm trying to get like you lol:) thanks for any info you can give

I was not a big fan of styling gel when I had relaxed hair. Not all products work the same for everyone's hair. Styling gel was not good for my hair. However as a natural I can wear it with no problems. I now use the I.C, Fantasia Gel and it works great.
I have heard that when your hair gets to your shoulders it starts to get split ends and frayed ends b/c the ends of the hair are brushing against your clothing/shirt. So you're supposed to start wearing your hair up in more protective styles such as a bun to keep it off your shoulders and away from your clothes. The constant rubbing of the hair on clothes is what causes those split ends. You also have to keep those ends moisturized.

I am no longer relaxed. In the past after a I'd relaxed and shampooed I used my regular conditioner...aphogee. Hope this helps.

Thank you and yes I trim and cut my own hair. I trim my ends after every relaxer (six weeks) and cut when my style grows out.
