  • me encanto ver que henry lloro por su muerte, ella le importaba después de todo compartieron muchos años de matrimonio

  • i know that there are a bunch of anne haters on this page. But, Anne was, in my opinion, the best and most interesting character on the show. Did she have faults? yes as do many people and i absolutely fricken hate how people call her a homewrecker and leave henry's name unblemished. It seems times have not changed.

  • People see only what they want to see in that Bible. Henry ignored Jesus' warning about looking at a woman to lust after her, or Jesus' saying that a man can commit adultery against his own wife by wrongful divorce and remarriage.. Paul said church leaders were to be the husband of ONE wife, and Henry claimed to be head of the church. Poor Catherine, makes you wonder why she put up with him instead of escaping the country, But maybe she thought there was virtue in suffering.

  • Henry claimed to be a Bible expert. What about Jesus' own words in Matt.19:9 which forbade divorce unless adultery was committed? Henry said God forbade him to marry his brother's widow. But Deut.25:5 COMMANDS a man to take his brother's widow. Henry ignored that one, he lusted after Anne so much. There's plenty of blame to go around. Anne's father and uncle USED her and her sister Mary to get in bed with the high and mighty to gain wealth and position for their family.

  • Jane Seymour was Great

Anne Boylen was the biggest Bitch in the World!!!

    Hail Queen Mary!!!

  • Anne boleyn needs some of minnys special chocolate pie.

  • "mine eyes desire you above all things"

  • I know that there are a lot of Anne´s fans here, but sorry: all this woman care about was been queen. They say she got the last laugh cause her daughter was queen; well, sorry break it to you, but she got nothing. she did not care much about Elizabeth and I´m sure she didn´t care much if she was queen later on. All she wanted was HER to be Queen

  • @Nadesiko85 I'm not starting an argument but correcting what you said. Being queen was not all that Anne cared about and certainly not the most important thing in her mind. Yes, she did enjoy having all that power because she was full of pride and intelligence.. The TRUTH is that all she ever really wanted was love. She loved henry very much and believed he loved her just as much back. the one who really encouraged her to get power was her bastard father.

  • To me there were three queens who deserved the title Katherine of Aragon Anna Von Cleves and Katherine Parr The rest were waste products .

  • I remember I cried when I had first watched this scene. Queen Katherine of Aragon will always be my favorite character in the show.

  • i feel sorry for both mary and katherine here....damn you, henry.

  • @CatieCass She didn't write to Henry VIII for a year, but finally caved because of her family and the king himself. She didn't wanted to get involved with the king but she had no choice. That was the reason why she said her virginity was for her husband, she didn't believe HVIII would marry her, a comoner. But he did. Anne Boleyn is not a homewrecker, the king would've divorced KOA anyway.. He was desperate for a son, in his eyes the only true heir. He was really afraid of a civil war.

  • So sad fom Mary.. no surprise she had so much anger pack against all who did so much bad to her mother, her self and her belives...

  • I feel sad for Catherine, who did not deserve such a cruel thing, being kept away from her child for four years. i feel bad for her daughter but for God's sake, do not insult Anne because you are touched by Catherine's demise! It was not all Anne. It was also Henry! It is certain Anne did not want Catherine alive, neither to please her, especially when she became Queen, but it was Henry who had the power. Anne was just a bad reason to justify his acts.

  • @MarinaMaxwellYuy People praise Anne for being Queen. They don't say "Henry did a good thing for the country making her queen" So why should Anne receive all the glory? It's not like the woman gave herself the crown.

  • @VisionsEnchanted I do not pray Anne. And I do not think she should recieve all the glory. I like her it is true but I do not forget what she did to be queen. And I am not saying Henry did a good thing by sending away Catherine. I was just reviewing about people who left comments on this video to insult Anne. Even if she was Catherine's ennemy, she did not have Henry's power. I think if someone should be insulted in this video, it should be Henry since HE is the one who did that.

  • @MarinaMaxwellYuy ( 2nd part) Anne, here, should just be ignored. It could have been for another woman that Henry sent Catherine away.

  • Haha get it Anne!

  • Katherine never deserved the bad treatment she got from Henry and Anne (neither did Mary). When Katherine died, Henry should have felt ashamed and guilty for all that he did to Katherine. And Anne is a bitch, and not in a good way! Anne was never truly queen. When Katherine died, the queen of england died. Katherine was the only true queen out of all Henry's wives! And I feel sad for Mary when she found out her mother died :(

  • I have so much respect of Catherine Of Aragon!

You can't imagine, I think she was a wonderfull queen and very loyal!

    R.I.P. Catherine! Queen Of England!

  • @Iranaa its a pity Mary was not more like her mom

  • @PrincessKarrah It really is...

If I was Mary I would feel like: 'I disobated my mother.'

  • @Iranaa i know

  • @PrincessKarrah actually Queen Mary was more like her mother, the reason why she is hated and considered as 'Bloody Mary' was because she killed and persecuted Protestants and Heretics.

I'm not saying i hate her, its just that the people who wrote the history books were quite unfair of how they depicted Queen Mary.

  • @nodinitiative I agree, she needs a movie to be redeemed Both Mary and Katherine.

  • @Pitalla although i'm against history revisionist. But I must admit that i have never actually learnt the full story of Queen Mary and KOA.

  • At 5.33 I thought he was about to turn the lights on but then I remembered back in those days they didn't have electricity lol :)

  • i like all his wives. Anne Boleyn's my favorite, but I dont hate Katherine of Aragon. it was so sad when she kept losing her babies </3

  • I am so glad Anne Boleyn was beheaded! She got what was coming to her. She was happy for Katherine and Mary to be treated this way but looked at the self pity when she when she ended up the same way: fallen from favour and her only daughter a disinherited bastard!

  • @DramaInPajamas You are GLAD an innocent woman was murdered on trumped up charges?

Katherine Of Aragon certainly would not agree with so vile a statement.

Why is it that even today we blame the woman for the evil deeds a man committed? Lay the blame where it effin' belongs, at Henry's feet!

And Anne's "bastard" was the greatest ruler England ever had. So I guess Anne had the last laugh after all.

  • @Elisabetta611 Anna a ruler?? hahaha she only was a king`s mistress come on...the power was in henry hands and when he was young in Katherine`s , who teach him how rule, because she was a powerfoul mother like model of woman real ruler....Anne a ruler!! hahaha

  • The interesting thing is that a 5 months had not yet passed after Katherine's death when Anne was executed although Anne believed after Katherine's death she become a true Queen.

  • May I ask which Elizabeth this is? I know Princess Elizabeth, of course, and I have heard of one Elizabeth Blount, mother of Henry FitzRoy. Is this Blessie Blount?

  • @shobsnet02 This is Katherine's maidservant loyal to Katherine

  • even though anne treated katherine badly..you have to give it to her...she took on the kings beloved wife and won....so he must have loved her...and anne wasn't a whore. A whore in those days was someone who slept with married men...anne never slept with henry whilst he was still married to katherine.

  • @IcelolliVP Actually that is defined as someone who sleeps with someone for something. Kind of like, sleeping with someone after they give you something.......oh wait.......

  • did catherine ever see spain back befir she died? or her parents ssters or brother before she died?

  • Usually I love Anne Boleyn, but in this scene, I wanted to strangle her

  • Poor Mary.... even denied the right to see her mother before passing... and then they take her name and stain it as a bloddy person, and her father a great king!!!??? are you kidding me right now!!???

  • Katherine was always better then that whore

  • Holy crap its about damn time Henry broke down for all the crap he put a woman who DID NOTHING WRONG TO HIM throw

  • According to history; Elizabeth Darrell had 3 illegitimate children with Thomas Wayatt and therefroe didn't hang herself!

  • God I cried and cried when I saw this scene... the fact that one of her last tasks was to write a letter to Henry still declaring her love for him, even after being treated like garbage, just made me cry so hard.

  • Katherine was an amazing woman. I just wanted to walk into my TV screen and slap Anne when I saw that smirk!

  • I don't understand why Henry appears in this scene crying...historically when Katherine died, both Henry and Anne dressed themselves from top to toe in yellow, which was the color of celebration in XVI.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV it was the color of joy in england but mourning in spain. he knew what wearing yellow meant in england but he did it anyhow cause katherine was spanish.

  • @edactori Alison Weir has corrected this error in The Lady in the Tower where she plainly states,

‘It is a misconception that yellow was the colour of Spanish Royal mourning: Anne’s choice of garb was no less than a calculated insult to the memory of the woman she had supplanted.’ (Pg. 18)

  • @uniquelyanonymoslyme ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @edactori The english ppl must've been thinking: OMG, what a pig, wearing yellow after his legitimate wife has passed away!

and the spanish folks: OMG, at least he's suffering for the death of the noble lady Katherine, perhaps he's not that heartless.

  • @QueenBrendaSIV Yes, in England. However, Catherine of Aragon was Spanish. Yellow is the Spanish color of mourning.

  • Katherine was such an amazing woman, holding tight to her faith and honor until the very end. Henry did love her, his decision to break from the Church and from Katherine had nothing to do with love but to the stability of his family's claim on the throne. Without a legitimate heir, the country would have fallen into another civil war after his death.

  • I actually Cried when poor Katherine died. And then when I saw Henry crying I screamed at my computer "Yeah you felling bad now?!?! you're horrible You son of biscuit eating bulldog" I didn't use that last correctly. And I wanted to throw my computer when Anne found out and was happy. "Now I'm indeed Queen" Queen my butt! That right belongs to Katherine and it always will! Don't get me wrong Anne was actually one of my favorite queens. So was Katherine.

  • to everyone saying Anne was a bitch.... can you honestly tell me how she acted almost five hundred years ago? were any of you there? no one is able to know what she was really like. in the end... her legacy was tarnished so the people would not rebel against her execution and so they would support henry's next wife. all we are able to be sure of was that she was highly educated.... and had wit and charm that made a king fall for her. yes koa never did anything to deserve a divorce. yes she was

  • HALE QUEEN KATHERINE!!! Queen from the purest and most important blood line in the world.... more even than her pupet husband one!!!

  • Who was seen hanged in 6:01?

  • Anne will never be anything more than a homewrecker in my eyes, never a legitimate queen. Long live Queen Catherine!

  • @ureallysuckglobes Amen to that! Remember when Anne raised hell when she saw Henry with Jane Seymour? Um...Anne, you didn't have too much of a problem when you were forcing yourself into HENRY AND KATHERINE'S marriage, now did you? Natalie Dormer did a great job in this show. If you hated Anne Boleyn while watching her, then you know Dormer's doing her job right.

  • @CatieCass Anne didn't force herself into Henry and Katherine's marriage. It is a fact that Henry wanted a divorce before he knew Anne. Wolsey started to search for a french princess for Henry. Anne had a relationship with Henry Percy and wanted to marry him but she wasn't aloud. Supposedly because Henry VIII wanted Anne as his mistress and wanted her to stay single. Anne at first wanted nothing to do with the king and saying no to HVIII or any king was very dangerous.

  • Anne may have been the wife of a King , but she was no Queen .. that title belonged and always will in my opinion to Catherine of Aragon. Queen Catherine of Aragon was blameless but still remained a strong woman due to her commitement to her faith , she was also the queen of hearts ,, Anne Boleyn was the challenge that Henry needed and conquered .

When she signs the letter right before her death .. sadest part for me .

Henry was a complete bitch to her right up until the end .

  • no anne was a good gueen she was also a person who loved and felt thretend by koa so there is nothing wrong with her being relived that kathren died!! and love all the queens and feel bad for everuone that died!!

  • anne doesnt deserve the title queen she doesnt deserve to be queen she was nothing more than a pawn for ambitious men and a snot nosed little B**ch the title queen wasted upon!!! >,< she lived as a smart scandal and died as an innocent scandal. only true queen i se was KOA and only just her!! the title queen was wasted on a boleyn

  • @Tekirai Amen! Same for katherine howard. Seeing this its no surprise they were cousins.

  • queen katherine was so much respected more than anne. i hated anne due to the fact that she was forced by her father to wed henry in ordder to move up in class...the queen's death was so sad and anne had a smirk on her face...what a bitch...good thing she was beheaded!!

  • she hung herself because she was a loyal maid to KoA she felt guilty of the queens bad treatment so she wanted to help katharine in the afterlife

  • Question: which Elizabeth hung herself was it Katherine's maid who who helped her Finnish her signature? If so, why did she do it?

  • pity..

  • she is the best...and i still can't believe henry was affraid of her...she was a great queen and her parents were the most powerful leaders ever...i think that's why henry sent her away because he knew how brave she is

  • Pourquoi elle meurt ? !

  • If I was Mary, when Anne was in the Tower, I would have visited her in her cell and bitch-slapped her. Whose with me?

  • @ZeroMyHero99

I'm with you. Instead of her beheading, Mary should have burned her at the stake.

  • @ZeroMyHero99 I'm with you. But, in the end, Mary took her revenge on Anne by what she did to Elizabeth. Then, Anne got HER revenge by having her daughter be AWESOME as a Monarch.

  • @Jamestopboy what did Mary to Elizabeth???? killed her?? no! left the throne, even when Elizabeth was ploting against her sister..ooohhh what a bad sister, Mary was...!

  • In real life when Catherine died Henry had a party to celebrate it.

  • I have always admired Catherine of Aragon, from I was a small child. Seeing this just made me hate Anne Boleyn, and I think Maria Doyle Kennedy does this scene wonderfully. I also believe the real Henry VIII loved her the most as they were married the longest out of love, remained friends even when they divorced and he only divorced her out of desperation for an heir.

  • May Her Majesty rest in peace for the sorrows she unjustly faced. I actually felt a tear when she hallucinated that Mary was with her.

  • hey! so i watch the tudors online..can anybody pls tell me who is the ginger girl next to katherine, and how did katherine die? thnx :)

  • i cried when i saw this and anne.....you bitch!! you unlucky innocent ,smart, conniving bitch!!!!!

  • wether in fiction or in history, their can be no doubt that Catherine of Aragon was couragous and strong woman.

  • WHAT WOULD A CLOTH OF GOLD WOULD OF DONE FOR MARY? WHY DID SHE INHERITED HER A CLOTH OF GOLD? THATS NOT WORTH ANYTHING IS IT?

  • @brandie7654 she actually said collar of gold, not cloth

  • @brandie7654 Yes it is,that was pure gold

  • I loved seeing Henry crying because it showed that he did love her.

  • Thumbs up if you thing Katharine should be made a saint.

  • Catalina= santa. Ana=zorra.

Katherine= saint. Anne=whore. END OF STORY.

  • Oh poor Mary losing your mother and forbidden to see her even before she dies.......

and Anne shame on you for being happy that Katherine died so you can be queen.....

  • @marrylegs28 its ok even though the circumstances were outright ridiculous....karma got her.....-though wouldve been better if she didnt get beheaded but o well

  • hm, I see Henry regrets...

  • @Snezhinka9

(sarcastic) It's about time & way too late!!!

  • Yeah, how did Mary find out that Katherine had passed away? She wasn't allowed to see her or write to her.

Also, could someone please post the clip where Katherine dreams/hallucinates seeing Mary. I love it so much!

  • @TheStarSorceress Considering the rest of the kingdom knew and her mother was dead (so she couldn't write her herself ;), I'm sure somebody passed the news along to her.

  • What episodes was this??

  • @jalice408 S02E07

  • Viva Catalina de aragón Reina de Inglaterra

  • Katherine of Aragon was the true Queen of England until the day she died. Point blank. If there is a heaven, we can bet she's right there.

  • poor katherine! i mean she really got the shitty side of things out of all of them i think because i think she really did love henry and he treated her like crap. oh this just makes me sad

  • What I feel most horrible about in Katherine Of Aragorn's death, is her inability to see her only child and beloved daughter, whom she loved above all others and fought Till DEATH for.....For that, especially, I hate Henry, for daring to separate a mother from her beloved child....For that, he deserved his death...Poor Mary.....

  • I will wonder if Henery ever shed a tear at all even in a dark room where no one can see him, did he ever shed a tear of Katherine's death? I am suprised that the letter was burned.

  • @tms117 I believe that he did cry, after all, they were married for 24 years after all, and about 20 of them were happy years. So, yes, I do think that Henry cried, even if it was only privately.

  • @Jamestopboy Yes I believe he did cry.And I do believe he did love her but when she couldnt produce an heir he became scared. And I also do hate Anne Boleyn is was truely evil.

  • Katherine was an amazing queen; such a sad scene.

  • That's a lie. Don't be foolish, she killed herself in GUILT.

  • Don't you guys see? Elizabeth killed herself because she was actually the one who slowly poisoned Katherine! She was probably blackmailed into doing it and had no choice. So once the deed was done, she killed herself in guilt!

  • @gregnicholas26 yes, that's another way to look at it cuz the autopsy of Katherine showed that her heart was in an unnatural condition. And there were many historical rumours that the Boleyns had her poisoned. But today's doctors believed that she actually died of cancer.

  • @JuzTudor70AD Could've been both.

  • @gregnicholas26 maybe she hung herself bcuz she wanted to be with Katherine again bcuz she loved her so much

  • @gregnicholas26

Doña Catalina de Aragón murió en brazos de su gran amiga y antigua dama de honor también española, Doña María de Salinas que había llegado a Inglaterra con ella en 1501.

Lo representado en el film es falso, en este sentido. Esa Elizabeth no existió. Quizá la malvada Ana Boleyn la envenenó efectivamente. ¡Aquélla mujerzuela desplazando a la hija de los Reyes Católicos, la mejor reina que ha existido en Inglaterra, y la más culta!

  • @germanEX21 Huzzah! I cheer for your words and I am glad that there is someone out there of your educated perspective.

  • @gregnicholas26 This never happened. It is just a storyline.

  • @gregnicholas26

I don't think so. I think she was overwhelmed with despair and sadness, and decided to join her mistress in death.

  • @gregnicholas26 Yeah and her Pyshain said when he opened up her body her heart was black

  • @gregnicholas26 To be perfectly honest, what the hell kind of poison produces a growth of anykind, doesn't it seem more likely that it was cancer? Especially when the doctors back then were so stupid as to think that leeches and bloodletting could cure many illnesses?

  • @AnubisApprentice

Anubis even today certain substances are highly carcinogenic, that is to say, they cause cancer.

Katherine of Aragon may well have been given a poison that caused a slow and painful death from cancer.

  • Don't you guys see? Elizabeth killed herself because she was actually the one who slowly poisoned Katherine! She was probably blackmailed into doing it and had no choice. So once the deed was done, she killed herself in guilt!

  • I thought this was so sad....a woman dies with only her faith without ever seeing her daughters face, the only true comfort she has. Yet when King Henry cried in this scene i believed that he actually loved her he was just to blinded by the younger beauties in the world. I think at that moment he realized that Katherine D' Aragon was his truest love and he lost himself the day that she died

  • @MysteryBwii I agree 100%

  • @MysteryBwii

I agree that from that scene with Henry crying some small part of him must have realized from her written words that she still stayed loyal and loving to him even upon her death despite all he'd done to her...maybe just because her Catholic faith would not allow her to think ill of her husband, or maybe because she took the vows she gave before God to love and honor her husband to death more literally than we do today, who can say?

Either way Katherine was a very noble woman.

  • @MysteryBwii That is a good way to think of it, but I believe that the reason why Henry cried was because out of guilt, not out of love, yes he respected her, but if he trully loved her, he would not have send her away or made his mistress the king whore!!! The Queen of England!!!, I love Nat D, she played a great Anne B. but I HATE Anne B. and Queen Elizebeth was not any better she killed people as well, and she also felt threated my Marry Queen of the Scots just like her father did.

  • And even more so that Mary didn't get a chance to farewell her mother.

  • @RebelliousOne12 yeah in history she wasn't even allowed to attend her own mothers funeral

  • And even more so that Mary didn't get a chance to farewell her mother.

  • It really breaks your heart to see Katherine of Aragon struggling to dictate a letter

  • sooo touching! what episode is this though??

  • What is that music playing, I hear it in every tudor video like when Queen Jane told Jane Rochford she could be a lady in waiting or when the spanish ambassor was saying my sweet lady to Mary. Anybody know the name of the song.

  • Trevor Morris did the music for The Tudors. Look him up -not sure if there is a CD of "The Tudors" but I am sure you can find this music somewhere on one of his albums.

  • Tudors season two album. Track 23 ; Farwell to a queen/ Katherine dies.

  • Was the Elizabeth mentioned around 6:13 the same one that attended Katherine of Aragon during the latter's final hours and did this same Elizabeth hang herself?

  • Yes, according to the storyline, this is the same Lady Elizabeth Darrell who was Katherine of Aragon's lady-in-waiting. But based on historical facts, she did not hanged herself.

  • @JuzTudor70AD

nor in history did Cardinal Wolsey commit scuicide like in the tudors

  • @JuzTudor70AD and historically elizabeth darrell married john wayyett

  • @JuzTudor70AD i mean thomas wyyett

  • Katherine had so much grace and dignity, a very admirable queen indeed. It takes quite an extraordinary person to forgive all of the horrible injustices that were inflicted upon her. I hope she is at peace now, and finally with her beloved daughter again.

  • @gapeachjessica I agree. I hope Henry is rotting in Hell with his buddy Hitler.

  • yeah I hope that too.

Maybe all the oter crap arseholes are there too like Mussolini and Richard Nixon and soon it will be nick griffin

  • Oh, my God :'(

She's the best actress on the world :'(

  • I love that Henry cries when he reads Katherine's letter. Whatever the historical Henry was really like, the Henry of the Tudors is really a very sympathetic character.

  • This scene was sad, be of good cheer Mary, you're with your mother now, and your father is probably in some sort of hell right now, for destroying his family.

  • @evaperonfan Anne did nothing good except have Elizabeth. Elizabeth is the on who helped England not Anne. Anne helped make Mary who she was when she became queen. She would have been a better queen if it wasn't for her.

  • She forgave that despicable character. That is true nobility.

  • 4:13 - SOOO SAD!!! Queen Katherine was way too good for Henry. She shouldn't have had to suffer so much. I believe through it all, though, she remained humble, loyal, graceful, and unbitter! She's still The Queen Of Hearts.

4:52 - I know Anne is beloved and all, but this scene leaves me quite sickened to be honest. That's why I just remain neutral when it comes to Anne, because for all the good she did, she really was cruel in a lot of ways, and that certainly isn't becoming.

  • Lmao...Don't be sarcastic! Everybody knows the history of Anne, Katherine, and Mary. Enough said...

  • You really are weird. You go back and forth, constantly contradicting yourself.

  • @evaperonfan oh sure the superior race...a group of pirats...yes great legacy..! capitalism, depredation...yes a great legacy indeed!

  • @TheOriginalDivaSable

You mean Anne Boleyn ? What good did she do ? She was an arrogant, manipulative bitch. She had her own execution coming, and the scene of her execution in the series was one of the rare that didn't make me feel sorry for the character.

  • Why she die?

She was so nice and beautiful.

Rest In Peace, Catherine of Aragon, the real Queen from England.

  • I love this scene! The actress who played Katherine did a FANTASTIC job!

  • its so sad that she had to die because henry was being so selfish

  • Good god this is depressing :'[

    RIP Queen Katherine.

  • Who is the woman that hanged herself?

  • The woman that hanged herself is the woman by the side of the bed. she's called Elizabeth and was one on Katherine's ladies. In real life she never hanged herself

  • Que mal negocio hiciste Catalina... mal negocio. Yendo a ese reino de miserables

Serviste bien a tus padres, a tu marido y solo conseguiste dolor...Pobre Catalina.

  • It is ironic that Anne is so gleeful over Queen Katherine's death. As King Nutter's dissatisfaction with Anne grows,Queen Katherine being alive kept her safe. He couldn't very well rid himself of Anne. He would have been expected to go back to Queen Katherine. But with her death,he is considered a true widower by the Catholic Church AND can rid himself of Anne and be totally free to marry again. Queen Katherine's death helps to doom Anne.

  • I sure wish Henry were more like his wives.

It would have been a bit safer.

    I like Catherine Arrigone.

She was a good queen, and a wonderful mother.

  • I didn't catch that, the shrine of who?

  • Our Lady of Walsingham?

  • This video is so sad! I wonder if historically henry really wept when he recieved her letter? I know he wore yellow in public, but maybe that was just a political and public gesture?
