  • No, i see lots of Shindler 400A's on texas!

  • the talking voice went out maybe.

  • this is the funniest thing i've ever seen lol.. elevator nerds... never would've thought there was such a thing

  • Scindler 400A's are NOT rare. Schindler 400A's are rare with HT PREMIUM fixtures. They are very common with vandal resistant. The chime is NOT delayed, they are manufactured like that. Most of the new 400A's are also MRL's,

  • why do elevators beep?

  • So, door close buttons on both Schindler traction and hydraulic elevators do not work. That's sad, but I don't know why.

  • crapper 1 did the some video the one crapper1 did the one how come does this one don't talk?

  • I do not know. I recorded this way before crapper1 did. The voice might of been broken.

  • This one doesn't talk. A Schindler hydraulic's limit is 6 floors and 48 feet.

  • this one does talk it did when i rode on it

  • there fast

  • Apparently, the nuisance call cancel feature activated which means it saw that floors 3, 2 and 1 were prank calls because the load in the elevator did not seem to correspond to 5 people.

  • I see because I have seen Schindler elevators in small towns in South Carolina as well.

  • Well, Columbia is a small city, but I do have tons of Otis and Schindler. However, Columbia does have at least 20 story buildings.

  • I guess this is a 400A.

  • Congratulations on recording a 400A traction elevator, which is rare elevator, and I guess floors 2/3 are locked for employee parking. Also, maybe you can try hacking this elevator with floor/door close button held at same time, to see if hacking a Schindler elevator really works.

  • Those are actually kinda of common in Atlanta, mostly because there are many Schindler there.

  • I guess Schindler Elevators are very popular in the larger cities, along with Otis, whereas Dover/ThyssenKrupp and Montgomery/Kone are popular among smaller cities.

  • Nope. It's regional. Schindler elevators are just as popular in smaller Georgia towns as they are in Atlanta.

  • The door close button doesn't work in Schindler 400A's.

  • I didn't record the date installed due to being in a rush. I have no clue when these were installed.

  • When is this installed? Can the PI system tone have a speical option like the soft tone (like this one)?

  • Let me guess, Schindler's green elevator 400A.

  • You can tell by the higher-pitched floor chime.
