its the reason America invade Russia. because an american body was found at the terrorist site. Imagine how complicated the storyline would have been if you didn't have a first hand account of what happened.
It makes the whole story more dramatic, plus, now you also see a tiny bit of the story side of Makarov :). It also made me realise how easy and how fast dramatic things like those could happen :( , the one moment you are at school and the other moment the whole building is a killzone, some teens shooting with guns. Ending all that just started life. But the point is that I'm glad they tossed in more drama in the series, doesn't mean I'm sadist but I think it makes the game even more exciting.
i don't think it's D.C. that's nuked. i think it's the capitol where Al-Asad set off that nuke in the first game. i think it's the U.S.M.C. or the S.A.S. doing something like recon, or trying to capture someone.

The person being strangled is a guard, but Price mistakes Roach for another guard coming to help his buddy, and shoves the strangled guard into Roach, knocking him down, then pointing the guards AK at Roach. The Soap points the Colt Price gave him in CoD4 at Price's head, saying "Drop it". Price, recognizing Soaps voice, drops the weapon and Soap, now recognizing Price, gives him his pistol back. Well... Ther is another theory. Some people say that when roach(guy you play as) and ghost(new gaz) are searching for makarov. When they return back, a general named shermov or somethin like that, wants to help them. Then when they ran back the general pulled his pistol and shot Roach and Ghost. Then they put oil on roach's and ghost's body making their bodies on fire and burned. Then when in the vid when they spot cpt. price. Thats when they avenge roach and search for the guy that killed them.
You just described what i think is the last few levels you know, and the general's name is Sheperd, an american. In the last levels you'll be playing as Soap, with support from Price and Nikolai from what i've read. Dunno about the whole burning Roach and Ghost thing though.

This is my theory. Price survives and you remember he said that he thought with Kamarov in Beirut. Well Kamarov was being held captive with Nikolai and Captain Price, helps TF141 by showing them the prison as he remembers where it is then TF141 along with Price bust Kamarov and Nikolai out. The guy in the boat maybe Soap and Price could be in another boat. Even if the prison isn't in Beirut maybe Price remembers where the prison is

I thought Ghost as Gaz too, but then I remember Gaz got capped by a Desert Eagle at the end of Cod 4, so there goes that theory.

Yeah, Captain Price lived. On the bridge, his heart must have restarted or something. And yes, he was captured and put in a prison. But you and Soap rescue them, and it's really epic, you should play it, the campaign has a shit load of shockers !

i agree with this guy..the airport mission is really bad... its not helpful to the game in anyway. killing fictional soldiers is alright but killing fiction innocent civilians on purpose is bad... and the way the game did it made it really gore-ie..i love the game except for the mission call me a bitch idc

It makes the whole story more dramatic, plus, now you also see a tiny bit of the story side of Makarov :). It also made me realise how easy and how fast dramatic things like those could happen :( , the one moment you are at school and the other moment the whole building is a killzone, some teens shooting with guns. Ending all that just started life. But the point is that I'm glad they tossed in more drama in the series, doesn't mean I'm sadist but I think it makes the game even more exciting.

i don't think it's D.C. that's nuked. i think it's the capitol where Al-Asad set off that nuke in the first game. i think it's the U.S.M.C. or the S.A.S. doing something like recon, or trying to capture someone.

One of my friends already has Modern Warfare 2, and when he was playing the story mode, there was one scene where a man was holding an A.K.47. Then Soap rushes up to him and points a pistol at him. Soap says,"Drop the gun". The man says."Soap?". And Soap goes," Captain Price?"

the guy in the hat in the boat is soap mactavish . ign rewind theater has all the info on all trailers. gaz and cap price died. online multiplayer : 25 killstreak means u can finish the game with a nuke (official saw gameplay of it) game and kill everyone and you can use the ac130 gunship online . this is all real what i am saying .

Gaz got shot in the head with an desert eagle at 2 feet by zakhaev who kind of executed him on the ground. don't think he survived that but who knows?

yeah gaz is in it.got it today and the character "ghost" has the same voice but he wears a mask so maybe his face was deformed but he survived

Search at "Modern Warfare 2 endgame" There you will get an comfimation about:
1. In last map "Endgame" you are Soap
2. Captain Price help you following Shepard to kill him (Shepard is a evil US General)
3. Nikolai landing a Helicopter to escape with Soap and Price to a secret location in the end of the map "Endgame"

There is a clip in You Tube where is a bit gameplay of Washington D.C helicopter shooting and a short footage of the next map. There's CAPTAIN PRICE(WOOOOOT!) is leading you. it seems to be like a stealth map. and you got a cool new knife-pistol tsand. i don't remember the name of this video sorry!

AH on the contrary the person you see being strangled is GARY "ROACH" SANDERSON Price is in a camp while being rescued he tries to kill roach but then seeing soap he realizes its a rescue....

Half right. The person being strangled is a guard, but Price mistakes Roach for another guard coming to help his buddy, and shoves the strangled guard into Roach, knocking him down, then pointing the guards AK at Roach. The Soap points the Colt Price gave him in CoD4 at Price's head, saying "Drop it". Price, recognizing Soaps voice, drops the weapon and Soap, now recognizing Price, gives him his pistol back. Search for Modern Warfare 2 Gulag part 2 and you'll see

Well... Ther is another theory. Some people say that when roach(guy you play as) and ghost(new gaz) are searching for makarov. When they return back, a general named shermov or somethin like that, wants to help them. Then when they ran back the general pulled his pistol and shot Roach and Ghost. Then they put oil on roach's and ghost's body making their bodies on fire and burned. Then when in the vid when they spot cpt. price. Thats when they avenge roach and search for the guy that killed them.

You just described what i think is the last few levels you know, and the general's name is Sheperd, an american. In the last levels you'll be playing as Soap, with support from Price and Nikolai from what i've read. Dunno about the whole burning Roach and Ghost thing though.

This is my theory. Price survives and you remember he said that he thought with Kamarov in Beirut. Well Kamarov was being held captive with Nikolai and Captain Price, helps TF141 by showing them the prison as he remembers where it is then TF141 along with Price bust Kamarov and Nikolai out. The guy in the boat maybe Soap and Price could be in another boat. Even if the prison isn't in Beirut maybe Price remembers where the prison is
