@unchiman666 You and everyone is overstating the fate of Toyota. Put in brake override. Problem solved. Except for the lowering of build quality. That is going to negative affect Toyota, but you are right, Hyundai and Kia, as well as Ford have upped their game, though long term reliability over their entire lineup is yet to be realized. Personally, I prefer the styling of the Hyundai's over the Kia's, especially the new styling on the Sonata. Screams high style and expense.
@lexusES350h Don't count on it. Most concepts never make it to production, but Toyota would be wise to at least bring the styling over to reality, if not the space age very expensive looking interiors.
@Seadgaranovic the Polo GTI is NOT a sports car, it is a subcompact, and I don't care if you have it or not in US, it's a direct competitor to the Yaris. BTW, you can have the LED daytime running lights on the regular Polo if you order it with xenon headlights.

It's what they refer to as a hot hatch in Europe and only the GTI is quick, if it was sold in the US it would be a waste of money if you were looking for performance. It's actually one of the most expensive sub compacts you can buy. Here in Japan it is the most expensive sub compact on the market at over 20K for a base model. You do get best in class interior quality though.
