Cute Peach Face Lovebird Parrot

Please don't rush into getting lovebirds (or any bird) as a pet. It takes a lot of time and care to make them this happy with you. They can become depressed very easily from boredom and loneliness if

neglected.

I got 2 male lovebirds when I was 15 and did not think it through. I spend at least an hour a day with each of them, but sometimes that's not enough as they always want more. Please don't get a bird unless you can provide the care they deserve.

i really like your bird. i also have a peach faced lovebird (2 1/2 months) he is cuddly and some times sleeps when being cuddled but still he is a little afraid to b handled and he is not trained to step up.

lovebirds are awesome. small really cute colorful parrots with so much personality. I never knew I could like having a bird as a pet thought they were all brain dead, till I saw my first lovebird blueberry and was extremely tame and would hop on my finger and was so cute I had to bring him home that day. 4 years later got one more, they mated and had 2 babies now I have 4 lol. and that'll be it for awhile now haha

i guess is subjective, but i think they are loud, especially if you get more than one. I only have one and I can hear him when I'm outside with the windows shut. They go nuts chirping back and forth. I think one gets used to it, but i'm not quite there yet

You have to get it to trust you. If it bites you then show no reaction from it. It'll let the bird know you mean no harm.
