This song is originally sung by a Mongolian singer, called Javkhlan who is very famous in outer Mongolia.

They replaced his voice with a boy named Baator's voice in the audition. It was positively identified by the choir they belong to and the company that produces the show. You can find his audition with his REAL voice on YouTube.

I like Baator's voice, but I prefer Uudam's version. I don't know why they would ever think of replacing it.

But you can watch the video again, when the judges ask him for his nationality Uudam says he's mongolian. If you read little bit into history, the territory and people in so called Inner Mongolian province of China now, has been part of Mongolia until late 17th century when Inner Mongolia has become part of Qing Dynasty.
