I am so addicted to this game that it isn't funny! I dedcided one day that i wanted to try a horror game. And i asked a guy working at Gamestop which one i should try. He said he absolutely loves Dead Space... thank you for my new drug of choice! Any one who is thinking about playing this game SHOULD GET IT! Its like the matrix its something you have to see for yourself. :)

Actually Dead Space was the most scary game i ever play. I got Amnesia but i dont find that scary.In Dead Space there is no silent place, allways there is something to hear and that is scary. Other thing, the fucking monster's show up behind you screaming like a sick dog. Whant be scary wille play DS follow the steps:

1-Volume on maximum (with headset)

2- Turn off your room lights

3- Open the window and wait to your room get cold

4- Start Dead Space

5- Got a heart attack on the first 30 minutes.

Well.. for the microprocessor, at minimum 2.5 GHZ

- 1GB RAM Windows Xp,, 2 for Vista end Se7en

- The graphics card, minumum 250MB VRAM.. Shader Moder 3.0 or higher (i recommend you the HD5450, is low range, but runs very nice in this game, cost 60-70 dollars

- if you want more performance.. buy something like ATI HD 5750..

@ScetZ I would't say all germans speak poor english but why should it "kill the experience" when i play a game with german language settings.. you're right when we think about war games where you play as americans, brits etc. in cases like that i prefer english but man.. dead space... maybe they really speak german out there in space.. who knows ;) btw i'm glad that i didn't have to learn russian for cod, arabic for assasins creed, "locust" for gow and so on and on and on ;) cheers

@Grollomatikus haha yeah you got a point there, would be a pain to learn all those languages, but english is one of the most spoken languages on the planet, and subtitles work well in some cases ;p but some of these games have a specially selected cast of voice actors for the english version, which is probably "better" then the cast for all the other language options, because otherwise it would cost to much. But to each his own i guess. Viel spass (dont have the esszet on keyboard) mit spielen;)

@ScetZ Gee.. Sure we play games in german language setting (mostly. Some games are dubbed SOOO poorly that it gives you goosebumps) why shouldn't we?! I completely agree with Grollo so actually there is not much more to say.

But tbh I am surprised again and again (and again) how ignorant you guys are! Why should it "kill the experience"? Do we speek with hand signals and click sounds?! No hating.. but almost (almost...) everybody I know (presumably) speeks a better english than you speek german

@HarleyAssi Yeah ok im sorry, that was kind of a "brainfart" of me, im not saying that there are no germans who can speak proper English, but most ive met just cant (so speaking from my own experience), im dutch btw, and sure , if you preffer playing in german, by all means do. But I noticed that you do the same thing with movies and tv shows, and they (in my opinion) get butchered. So i kind of assumed the same went for video games. btw, i bet my german is better then your dutch ;)

@ScetZ Dutchman are way better in English than German people, that's a fact. I'm German and I know many German people who can't speak proper English, even if they had English for 5 years in school. I prefer to watch tv shows and play games in English, too. The German synchronisation is largely crap imo. But that's a matter of taste. :P

TIPP: Hols dir uncut und ich empfehle es auf englisch, find die synchro net schlecht aber die echten dialoge (die wenigen^^) tragen echt zu athmosphäre bei und auf engl is es echt geiler (die story versteht man auch mit mittleren / schul-kenntnissen in engl.)
