You know why this is so great? And most of you that hate on this wish you can go in a session and do what he does is because he moves with no restrictions. Isn't that what KRUMP entails anyway? Definitely different. His moves are to sporatic (irregular intervals) though which is unpleasant to the eyes. Dance itself is suppose to be a rhythmic body flow to music. Krump, itself seems to run on the outter edges of music (rhytm), but the artist catches that beat every so often.... Worm style is too far from this form which makes it seem just to be a flow of uncoordinated movements than actually dancing... just saying.

@nuffflavor So, how does your theory work with the hundreds of dance companies that don't use music - they dance to sounds, words. One of the greatest dance creators of all time Merce Cunnungham would create his works without music then on the night of the performance he would let composer Cage add music that was created without seeing the piece at all. I think you should open your mind up to what dance is. Check out Butoh and performance artist that use dance in their work.

I guess it could be done without music, but weighting this theory against our normal American traditions.... we mostly dance to music.... This vid does has music, so this artist is suppose to be flowing with it. Your mentioning of this (no music) is true and probably an entirely different catergory compared to our street dances.

Cunnugham, u say, dont use it... so it would be silly for him to play dance music while his works r in motion... wouldnt u say? I grew up as a B-boy and now JB skate... Those street dances r set to music. they evolved with the music/genre they were created in. Worm is in the art set to music. He must create another or his style will not compete with others in Krump.

@Killoffclothing we must remember, while aruging the point of dance, each style draws its own crowd. 4 instance some like live bands parties while other like DJ parties...both r music, but HUGH difference. I rather hear scratching than a drum solo even though the solo requires more skill. Krump crowds like to see the artist express the music they r hearing... it ALL comes n a package. Separating these items...kills the spirit. So, Worm may have to evolve another style of Krumping?

Our krump crowd loves what Worm is doing and when the top krump artist are selected to be n events - Worm name keep coming up so he must be doing something right.
