I got this instrument in February this year. These are the strings that came on it. They slowly stretch over time, more in the very beginning. But they sound and play the same as always. I play it on a gig or two and here and there every week. Maybe about 6 hours a week average. I always keep a pack in my case. I bet they do last longer on a fretless like this one.

Does anyone know how long these strings are expected to last with average use?

Yeah that... I never realized i do that until i got this ipod and started taking video at gigs. But i absolutely love the tone i am getting out of that u-bass!
