yep! like that as well.been thinking of getting a malibu after flying a friends,He said would you like a fly?! yee! only thing that made me very wary was the position of the base bar at or close to take off, it seemed to want to be much further away from you, but having watch a lot of vidios it seems normal!. anyway l stay aloft for an hour and when l landed it was on my tip toes! with a smile from ear to ear! and giggling like a little kid!, brilliant, absolutely brilliant. glidermam4rjp

@flaviodf100 Flying 300 kilometres XC in a single surface wing is much more about the conditions on that day than it is about the wing.

People who fly XC in a single surface wing mostly do it for the ease and pleasure of flying more than trying to go long distances. If you want long distance you really need a high performace double surfzace wing.

I wonder how and gliding on thermal malybu and if it would do for a xc with this wing because the glider was flown falcon ja 300 km will be with her​than with the Malibu would do for 300 km?

Thanks mvent2009, yes we are blessed to have Stanwell to fly at, it really is a beautiful site. I am glad I can capture just a little bit of it's beauty with my videos.

Hi jo897m, Yes it is amazing to have the ability to fly like a bird. I have been flying for 5 years and as to how many hours to get to my level....it all depends on how easily you pick up new skills . :-)

A brand new Malibu retails for around $4,700 but you can get into flying with a good second hand wing for around $2,000. It is the cheapest way of getting into the air. Plus after training and buying your gear it is practically free, just turn up when the wind is on and take off. :-)

Hi Troy, glad you liked it and yes it is nice to have some videos to feed the need to fly during winter. Although at Stanwell you can usually get some flying during the winter as well.
