  • What about your running day lights? Can u still use those? Just asking

  • Is the throw and cutoff still decent?

  • What type of head lights is this???

  • @TheMrFlyBoy18 HID Conversion Kit | Balast + Bulbs

  • this is illegal, this lights dont have a patter and blind innocent drivers, you should have installed projectors en each headlight

  • @jose76pe how foolish.

  • there not illegal hear tons of my friend shave these lights im getting some today too cops dont do nothing unless they stop you to see if you switched out the healights for aftermarket ones that dont have enough reflectors or something >.> ha

  • They are illegal in Britain.

    North America is another thing.

I know that in Ontario, Canada they are NOT illegal. Just hella bright.

  • If this is illegal, then there are thousnads or 100,000s of illegals living in this country. First go and wipe them out and then come and talk about these HIDS.

  • is this legal? lol i have hid on my 2009 yukon hybrid and got flashed by a cop...

  • Cops work for the IMF, everything they say is a LIE. if you want to learn something about world legal system (Uniform Commercial Code) and the economy, I suggest you read a free online book by Mary Croft: How I Clobbered Every BUREAUCRATIC Cash-Confiscatory Agency Known To Man.

  • You honestly believe every law enforcement officers lie? Do you believe they are crooks and cons too?

  • Yes they are ignorant spirtually blind fools that believe there is an authority in their life other than themselves, they accept no responsibility for anything.

  • @chasebarnett YES. I do. When you break your Oath of Office to uphold the Constiution, you break the law, that makes up 90% of their work regiment.

  • What kinda bulbs does 2009 have? I got an 09 4 door. People keep giving me different numbers..really frustrating...

  • Probably depends on the model number. You can put HIDs in any newer vehicle and shouldn't get any flak, because cops typically don't know what's what.

  • 9006 for the low beams, 9005 for the highs.

  • @kevin15664 Google search Focus Eye HID kits, you can adjust the angle and focus the light beam according to your driving terrain all with a remote. Focus Eye HID kits are made for reflector headlight housings. This should solve your problem.

  • @kevin15664 know your rights, legal, or lawful?

  • i got my kit for $55 from ebay. works great

  • Comment removed

  • no, that is called Retrofitting, not conversion.

  • I want to get HID's/a conversion kit for my SI, but I have no idea what's good and what's not...These HID's look pretty good, are they good quality wise??...what kind are they?

  • i have had these for like 2 years now and they are still working great, perfect every time. these are KLights out of pacific asia somewhere, there were like $140 2 years ago, you can probly find same quality for cheaper these days. ebay.

  • Got any tickets man? The only way to really be safe from the law is projector housings with 4300K HID. Anythng else might get you the wrong kind of attention :(

  • psh, no. i live in cape coral, fl now and like, 2/5 of the cars in town have these, and a lot of them are purp. my lights look normal compared to most cars around here. cops in florida only care about finding cannabis. SUPPORT H.R.5843/5842 !!

  • shits reall sickkk

  • How much did this cost you?? and what kind are they?? looks really nice

  • $120 for the HID Kit (wire kit, ballasts, bulbs), KLight

$20 for the yellow fogs, Sun Shine Plasma yellow

bought the kit and fog bulbs on ebay.

  • was this a plug n play kit?

  • yes, but removing all the wheel liners, and mud gards is a bitch.

  • I just did a TSX Retrofit on my 93 accord TONS of light and ultra sharp cutoff.

  • Looks amazing dude, nice job. But you might want to look at black housed projector halos, they look insane on the new civics, I installed them on mine, and with the amber reflector the HIDs will look brighter and more focused so check it out man!

  • i would not waste my money or self respect on halos.

  • I got a 06 si with hid's in the headlight 8000k and 2600k (yellow) hids in the fogs....are they hid's in you fogs?.......Looks good!!!

  • no, its just 3M protectant film, but its starting to burn from the heat so im going to change out the bulbs and remove the film.

  • got the new bulbs in, looks so good. $20 on ebay. 3000K

  • where did u get those fog flights? are they just regular halogen? they loko so nice

  • get the PIAA yellow bulbs, best price for the quality.

  • do they have HID's for the fog lights?

  • no, not true HID, but you could purchase the HID conversion kit again just for your fog lights, then you would be running 4 ballasts for all for bulbs.

  • Might want to upgrade the alternator, for all that. LOL. Quick question: WHY does everybody do yellow-fogs?? Is there a benefit, or is it just for looks? I think "mismatched" lights look rather jackass, but if there was some functional aspect, I'd consider it.

  • it is mostly looks, but yellow light is actually less reflective in rainy situations making it easier to see the road when driving. so it does serve a small purpas, but its mostly a JDM/Euro style that I and apparently most people like. In this video though thats actually stock fog lights, those are not even modified. thats the difference from regular halogen to HID conversion.

  • People mostly are trying to copy the look of the Lexus Is300 which introduced the whole yellow fogs with HIDS look. There really is no purpose for doing it and no benefits either, it just makes your HIDs stand out more. I personally hate it.

  • upgrade the alternator? these bulbs actually run at a lower wattage than the stocks ones. i promise.

  • Oh, okay. As long as you're like super-serious...

  • SUPER serious.

  • i am preety sure u can use any kit to make it fir to ur fogs.. but its a bitchwith all teh cables

  • very true, you just have to make sure the kit comes witht the correct H11 size bulbs for the fog lights.

  • yes, you can even get HID yellows if you like the JDM/Euro look. but the fogs require a different bulb than the headlights, i think the fogs are H11. you should check here to find out: sylvania[dot]com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/

  • is that 4300k or 6000k?

  • neither, 8000K, it says so in the video discription, thanks for reading.

  • yes, but its best to buy the $20 H11 yellows bulbs on ebay, they still look good.

  • I just added 6000k to my 07 civic and they are nice.

  • what kind of bulb does the 06 and up honda civics use? i am buying a 10,000k HID kit but not sure on what bulb it uses. Example: H1,H2?

  • The 8th Gen Civic uses Type 9006 bulbs for the low beams and Type 9005 bulbs for the high beams.

  • wait i have a question, so like i am getting HID's too, so liek your car, will i only replace the outer bulb, and leave hte inside ones in? or take the inner sides out, so i no longer have bulbs there?

  • These are HID conversion which is just a bulb replacemnt, and they are run by ballasts that you also instal, this is NOT TRUE HID's. to get true HID's you have to retro fit real HID bulbs (or back housing including blubs) from a car that has true HID's into the front lens of your headlight housings.

  • *example* your headlights, but cut out the back of them, and refiberglass the back housing of the acura TL headlights housing to yours, but this is risky and REDICOULOSLY expensive, but it would be true HID.

  • TurboGC8 , could you give me few tips how you instal the xenon bulbs. Is there anything tricky ?

    10x !

  • did u purchase the high and low beam? did they come together in the kit or did u have to purchase them seperately?

  • the bulbs only work when pluged into the ballasts sperately, so you have to purchse one ballst for every bulb you want to use, so that would be 4 ballasts (which are big boxes that you have to instal hidden behind headlights) which can be done but is really too much to do and not worth it.

  • quick question, the si uses 9006?

  • did you just get the bulb or did you also buy a converter and installed them? im planning to do the same on my si. do you know where i can get them?

  • these xenon bulbs will only work if you purchase the ballasts that come with them in a kit. I purchased these on ebay. $150.

  • That looks incredible. . . I have an ex in the same color. . . How much flashing do you get from drivers int eh opposite direction? Is that grille stock? Very nice.

  • I get no flashing at all, all i did was put the bulbs in. I did NOT adjusting the angle of the housings, but I think i need to aim them up a little. These project similar to stock bulbs, but with these every reflector glows so bright, everything looks better and is more easy to see. Also, that is the stock Si grille, and those are teh 8000K bulbs.

  • How is the aiming of those lights without a projector housing? They look awesome.

  • its pretty good actually. im satisfied with it.
