i have been praying for my failing marriage for months. now my husband and i are separated, and soon to be divorced. i dont know if i keep praying or give up and let go and see this as Gods will. im not sure, im confused, does the Lord want for me to keep praying for my marriage to be restored and to have faith? or does God want me to let go and move on??? i need help, what direction do i choose? i love my husband deeply still and i want us to have a Godly restored blessed marriage and life.
I wish there were more couples open to discernment from the Holy Spirit to pray for others marriages like this couple did.
Too many couples today, only discuss or take sides in such issues and help send other couples over the brink of divorce, instead of praying for that couple in true biblical compassion
Barbaracevasco, you must know it is not yourself that wants your husband to come home to both you and your child, it is the Living God that put that desire in you to Hope and Believe for your marriage. Trust Him. You heard right. God DID tell you to hold on because He will be bringing your husband back. To Jesus and to you and your son. Praise Him!
He's selective by choosing everyone you say? Wouldn't that be a contradiction in terms? I don't mean to sound mean, I think there are elements within the Bible which offer a good philosophy on how to live your life, though there are other things which can only be described as vile. I don't blame God for this as I don't believe he exists and the logic "The Bible is the word of God because the Bible says the Bible is the word of God" just doesn't make logical sense.
Jesus died once for ALL. He chose EVERYONE including you. A bit of time spent searching Him out, giving Him the benifit of the doubt instead of the Devil would then take you into Gods promise "Seek and you WILL find". The first great lie was "You wont surely die". Jesus said "My sheep know my voice and they follow me. You havent stopped asking because inside you recognise His voice. Keep asking. Your are already seeking. You are on your way home. Jesus loves you. Dont lose heart.
Your story is a very nice one but I fail to see where God comes into it, you seem to throw up more questions than answers here. If God helped these people, does he help all people? If so, why do other's continue to suffer, and if not why is he selective? I don't expect answers to these questions beyond the "faith doesn't need proof" kind, and I don't consider anything in the Bible as in any sense "proof". Anyway, nice music, have a lovely day.
Jesus said" Seek and you WILL find! He IS selective. He chose EVERYONE by name and face. We are selective too, we choose not to take Him seriously. He Forgave even while He was being killed. Humanity is the bride who has gone astray. The whole world has committed adultery by turning away from Jesus, the husband of our souls. If we love someone, we listen to His Word. Jesus cannot lie! Ask Him for comfort in His Word. Try the Book of Proverbs. We will be praying for you.
My husband left home in september...we have a 3 years-old boy...He sais he doesnt feel love for me as he used to...Please,can you pray for my husband to come home on christmas..?
We miss him a lot...I know that Jesus is going to make the miracle...
Yeah! I appreciate your good heart - full of hope for God and love for your husband. Keeping on holding on. He will come back and wished he never left. And you will be more certain he has come to stay FOREVER
i have faith that God wants the best for us,i put my marriage in His Hands...so...today after 8 month of suffering and full of fear and pain ..i trust that God is in complete control..
I am a different person.God changed a lot of things in me that wasn´t ok..selfishness..bad temper...i hope God give me a chance to make it work not in other relationship, but in my marriage...i want that chance..
I saw the same video again and i can´t help the emotion...i don´t know what plan God has for me...but...can you pray for us and for my marriage to be restored...he doesn´t realized what he´d done..he is blind!my little boy misses him a lot...me too.why is taking too long?
God does help all who ask. Perhaps it will not be the help we hoped for, but it will always be the right help, God can do nothing other than the right thing. What ever choices He makes for us, they are the right ones, just cus he's God, and we'er not. Man is the one who makes man suffer, not only by war and crime, but by pollution and greed. God doesn't do these things, we do. He gave us free choice. Many choose to hurt others, as well as their selves.
