It's strange. I though I would have been the first one to speed run this game. Oh well. At least I was planning on doing a 100% speed run anyways.

I've done 100% runs after posting this video, but my capture card broke. Basically I start at Reactive Factory to unlock Metal Knuckles, and work backwards. Super Sonic is again used for Radiant Emerald. Message me if you want route details.

I completed this game 100% ages ago on the Saturn and this is the first I've heard of a "curse." Good game this, albeit a little short.

Did you choose Knuckles because you like him or is he the best character for collecting Chaos Emeralds? I have this game for PC and I almost always choose Tails because I think he's the easiest to control and, well, he's my favourite character. But now that I have all Chaos Emeralds I think Super Sonic is the best.

When you're speed running, you choose the character that performs the best. Tails is far too slow, though his handling is top-notch. Sonic is slightly faster than Knuckles, but his handling is way too stiff. Knuckles is an amazing balance between the two, able to turn rather well and only slightly slower than Sonic. Sonic only outperforms Knuckles on Radiant Emerald, but I switch to Super Sonic anyways.
