i have watched this so many times now. how incredibly inspiring, i mean wow, what a musician! and such a fascinating instrument, how badly i want one! after a long search i finally was able to purchase his album "Willow" on vinyl, and have been enjoying it to no end. but sadly his music seems incredibly difficult to find. anyone know of a source, especially of other footage of him playing?
@1RoaringMonk , This was indeed the first one. In fact we donated to the Musical Instrument Museum at the Univ. Of South Dakota with Ervin's blessings. He told us it was the very first and thereby a special Somogyi and a historical guitar.

i've never seen a capo operated by a pedal! amazing innovation, and the guitar sounds so bright.
