Inventing used to be a male dominated field (since women could not own patent rights, or could have enough education to invent things), but even so there are many women inventors. But that is not the only field that women have made advances in. Many movies, books, music, scientific and mathematical ideas were developped by women.

The fact is that women are performing better on tests and getting more educational degrees than men. It is true, however, that men still hold the majority for higher degrees (only in some fields, though) and for nobel prizes.

@MobHeataEnt That doesn't mean that women are not smart enough to get those degrees/prizes (nor that women are smarter because they perform better on standardized tests, since the standardized tests themselves are a flawed method for testing intelligence and understanding). One of the main reasons that women do not pursue higher degrees in math and science, for example, is because society tells them that they are not good enough. Although we are working towards equality, we are not there yet.

Why are they blaming the all of the czar's faults on Rasputin? All he did was heal Alexei, warn the czar of an upcoming war and get drunk and laid. The czar entered the war and left the country undeveloped, not Rasputin.
