@GuessWhatTheImageIs Thanks! After several otter passes I was able to get a good idea of where it would pop up next and went there as soon as I saw it coming. It was still working that reach as of yeasterday.
@parsonsian Thanks! The sucker moved around so much that I had a tough time keeping it in the video frame -- much easier to frame it for 1/250th of a second... The otter was cooperative though -- moving through my work area many times over a two day period, and didn't seem too bothered by me chasing it around.
@HumboldtMike That's great man. I saw a pair of them here in Wyoming last winter. The river was mostly frozen over and I watched them swim 100 yards in strong current under the ice. They were popping up in open areas on their way upstream. A guy who lived right there said he watched them catch and eat about thirty trout one afternoon he said the snow bank where they were eating looked like somebody poured out five gallons of red kool-aid. They are CRAZY swimmers!
