this is the best dreadlock jouney ive ever seen i now know how long it will take to get my dreads to a long length 3 years huh i can hang in their for now my dreads are like 2 inches in the back and 4 inches on the top and sides

my dreads tend to flatten when i lay downs sometimes i am 5months into my journey! i started with two strand twist also but now some of mine are starting to mature! while other's are budding. but what do i do about the flattening?

i'm confused about how you utilized yarn to help loc your hair. could you shed some light on that and also: is the yarn still in your hair? did it just loc right along with your hair? they are beautiful btw. i'm 2 months into my loc journey and i can't wait till they actually start locing.

i used yarn just to help seperate the bottom..i believe it helped lock them too coz the yarn was twisted tightly hence the loose hair locked....i dont have the yarn now..took it off after 1month ....

i did it for a change of style...all u do is twist it on the lock and then put a knot at the end.
