it's sort of like san andreas- bad graphics but sick as hell gameplay. It has tons of variety in weapons and cars. There is so much to choose from. I'll admit the graphics are crap but that doesn't matter when you have a game as sick as this. Besides, something probably got in the way and made the graphics bad.

This game is a really good game but it does look like a ps2 game. For example GTA sanandreas. That game was fantastic and this game is just as good. But in my opinion GTA IV is better than SR2. Even though SR2 is a very good game it has some things that let it down like the graphics and the handling of the vehicles.

SR2 is a good game... It grows on ya to be honest... From my view point I enjoyed GTA4 more, but you can't go wrong either way... And no matter what anyone says it will be hard to do GTA San Andreas, that game set the standard for all these games and this game along with GTA4 didn't match up to that game in either way!
Take all the elements out of this game and mix em with the graphics/physics engine of GTA IV and you would have a really great game. GTA IV solo is awful with repetitive missions/boring side-quests,but online mode is great. Saints row has a better/more violent story IMO but mediocre solo missions and woeful multiplayer online. Neither game is a 10/10. Saints row should be 8/10 and GTA 8.5/10 IMO.

It bothers me that in the time it took to make Saints Row 2, it looks like they made absolutely no improvements to the graphics, just made a new game with the same code. I liked the first one, I liked GTAIV, but I'm just starting to get sick of the sandbox in a crime-filled city, mob/gang wars, being a "good guy" while doing dispicable things type of game. It looks the same as the first, same character movements, same explosions, the only good thing ive seen so far is the character creation update. I just wish they did what rockstar did with GTA 4, which is pretty much make the game entirely different than the others.

SR2 is going to be amazing, hopefully the online glitchers and "A" tappers will be non-existant.
Those weapons look pretty damn good and the ability to fly planes will be a treat for SR fans.

But the first Saints Row was nothing like the GtA games so why should the sequel be any different. But even with all the crazyness Saints Row 2 still looks good and i am definately getting it because i've got it preordered it at Game.
