Hi This is a lovey tune done by you Great jobv!!! 10 for you!!!,I say ye guys the best button accordion around,.I have worked in Lafayette Louisanna for many many years and this unique style of cajun playing on the accordians are absolutely amazing and has great sound.I play alittle accordian,I was introduced and was watching Micheal Riveria(he worked for the same company as me) in 2008 at brussard la.man!!! he can play the cajun accordian ty great work on the box!! interesting solo
@chincha805 It is a good accordion, however the bass springs break easily. However, they can be fixed easily by a Louisiana accordion builder for very cheap.
Exactly how many Cajun accordions do you own? Why was it necessary to get as much? How on Earth were you able to afford them all? Finally, which name brand handles and sounds the best. In other words, if the Gestapo were to come in and take all of your accordions away, but let you keep one, which one, in which key would you keep? Out of all the videos you've broadcast, this is the best sounding accordion to me! It makes me happy.
Million dollar question. Are you a real Cajun from LA?
@boudreauxjacques You can ask me anything, my friend. I tuned the mid bank down to 5-7 cents wet. It gives it an old time sound. I also tuned every sing C and F reed down 10 cents, this makes the A and D chords sound perfectly in tune. Some people call this "tempered tuning", Cajuns call it "Cajun tuning" lol
Wow...just awesome! So I have gotten ahold of a friend of mine's Hohner HA 114 and have never really played an accordion before but would like to learn how to play some songs (Im not really a musician past a few chords on the piano or guitar).
Where can I go to learn how to play this particular instrument since it fell into my lap and I've found it is an excellent piece, or at expensive (in your hands it sound pretty excellent though).
@KMcCurdy6457 It depends on what kind of music you want to play on it. That is Cajun music I'm playing. There are a couple instructional videos to learn, and there are really no teachers of this anywhere except Louisiana.
Peer, you are most observant! Yeah, my dad and I decided a couple years ago to add that Bminor (in this case of the D accordion), for a little different flavor. Kudos for noticing that!

Sorry, I mean Bm chord. Makes it sound a bit like an old time fiddle tune, but then in twostep time, if you know what I mean...
