This does not make sense? if the hand is horizontal with the ground as shown you end up with a baseball swing three feet off the ground. In the takeaway the knuckles or the fist at the midpoint or horizontal point are vertical if you turn them so that they are horizontal you would never hit the ground never mind the ball?
