I had an argument with my friend recently about leeches on society and they were dfending them but it figured. One of my friends collects disability and my otehr friend had a dad who was an alcoholic who she said just couldn't stop. He only tried 2 months in a detox facility, that is nothing you can't recover from almost anything in 2 months, it's jstu an excuse

So how is this scenario different from lobbyists coming to Washington hat-in-hand, asking for taxpayer funded crooked billion dollar contracts/bailout packages? These people are "bums" but Bear Stearns is not?

Those lobbyists have a job, and they're asking for money from the same source (government) that helped create the financial mess.

These homeless people refuse jobs that are available to them. Who bankrupted their lives? If banks and mortgates acted like the guy who ran the responsbile shelter, then we're not in this present crisis.

Hahaha! This is laughable! 1/4 of American homeless are war veterans who were braiwashed with empty slogans of patriotism and heroism. Only in America, land of opportunity, are war veterans treated like curbside garbage.
