@l12i12h12 I don't speak Spanish, sorry. I actually have a few great resources to help me learn Romanian; I just need to put the time and effort into it! Thanks, though!

By the way- romanian is very hard, is useless so it's a fucking waste of time to try learning it. You all should learn Mandarin (if you already speak english). Hasta la vista.
@xxxromaniayyy Haha -- Well, it may not be very practical to learn, but it's a language (and place) I love! My brother speaks Mandarin and is already teaching his one-year-old son some words!
@xxxromaniayyy What do you mean it's useless? I work with several Romanian people and I would love to learn how to communicate with them in their native language. Unfortunately, I am learning Japanese, so I can't try for it or I will end up confusing the two.
In english, "Îmi plac feţele voastre" is translated - "I like your faces" (as you said in the video). The pronoun "I" is the subject of the sentence, "like" is the verb and "your faces" is object. But in the romanian sentence "Îmi plac feţele voastre", "feţele voastre" (eng." your faces") is the subject while "Îmi" is indirect object. (is one of the forms of the personal pronoun "eu" [eng. "I"] in the dative case.
Correct is "Îmi plac feţele voastre" and not "Îmi place feţele voastre" because the subject of the sentence is "feţele" so the verb must be in the plural. In normal word order the sentence would be: "Feţele voastre îmi plac (mie) ".
@xxxromaniayyy Thanks for the tips!! I figured I was probably a little off the exact grammar, as it's been a few years since I last used Romanian IN Romania. :-)
I'm glad you were not mauled by a bear and are still here to vlog and be awesome as you were concerned about that last vlog. :D te iubesc sounds so nice. Also you are a good teacher.
So very cool! I thought about doing the same thing in Korean, but then, I procrastinated. So all I could do was put together film of me procrastinating. Boo. Yours was great!
@phampants Haha, I'm actually not Romanian by blood, but I've been there three times and I feel Romanian in my soul. Apparently my accent is good enough to pass, though, cuz people there have asked me where in Romania I'm from. :-P

Ahhh how embarrassing how can u teach a language even for fun if you don't know it?? It's imi plac fetele cuz it's plural lol
ClaudiaG91 1 month ago
it's "imi plac fetele blabla", not "imi place fetele blabla"... anyways, a romanian guy would say "ce fete aveti, ba! hahaha!" =))
