  • u should make an updated video comparing it to windows 7. xp is shit compared to 7 :-P

  • everything is the answer 2 the title

  • PC's price point is low. So are their quality.

  • @weinerschnitzelboy Obviously a mac fanboy who doesn't have a clue about PCs.

  • @trekpropguy I've used a PC years before I got a Mac. I've had tons more trouble on a PC than Mac. I've actually never had a problem on the Mac

  • @weinerschnitzelboy I just prefer being able to repair and service and upgrade my PC at home with little or no extra cost.

  • @trekpropguy That's the great things about PC's, but I don't do much gaming, and so I feel safe enough to knowing that my the nvidia graphics that comes with my laptop is good enough.

  • Faggot u can get a dock on the pc

  • 5k mac pro = shitty. 5k custom made pc = top of the line, fucks you in your eyeballs awesome.

  • Ohhh...big whoop...you can batch rename files? So...when does this have a practical use?

  • how do you fucking right click on a mac?

  • @stripesthebird On the mighty mouse. Position your finger near the top right of the mouse and click. On the trackpad, use two fingers on the pad and click.

  • @coffeeandsugar20 enjoy sucking job's cock for specialized hardware

  • No. I am straight.

  • shut up your a faggot. like all of the other mac users going into coffee shops and yall think ur tough bloging about ramdon shit. well macs SUCK PC FOR WIN

    WINDOWS7!

  • I bet you never used a mac!

  • i bet your can suck my dick tonight

  • PCs are much better than your shitty Macs, and they cost WAY less

  • If you cant afford one that does not mean PC's are better :P :)) They are worth the money if you read about how they are made and if you work on Mac OS X you will see how responsive this system is.

  • for life man, for life

  • @PracticalTutorials if they cost less, they have worst specs. sorry.

  • @PracticalTutorials if they cost less, they have worse specs. sorry.

  • @SquickenX Can you prove that?

  • @PracticalTutorials hahaha. you get what you pay for..Pc s are for mentally challenged apes

  • that looks pretty hard to use

  • Ok i got a quick question im a big gamer so i always got one hand on the keyboard and one on the mouse how do the keyboard short cuts work for MAC? are they do able with one hand quick once accustomed or are they awkward?

  • mac apps have also hotkeys, only that some keys are changed, there is no windows key, but there is a apple option key, search google for mac keyboard images for more.

  • macs suck for gaming and in general but they are basicly the same

  • dam that took you that long how sad

  • hahha Aw it changes!

  • You say that on a mac you can just turn down the master volume instead of each tab?

Well, in windows, you can simply turn down the fire fox volume - isn't that easier?

  • i have that same iBook G4. nice. i am getting a MacBook Pro soon, (probably within the next year) and i am so damn excited

  • excited about what? flushing your money down a toilet...

  • Is it YOUR money?

    Why do you care?

  • well if u think what i wrote was a love letter i can rlly tell your one of those nerds that never got one. its good you admit the taskbar can do more then the dock. "better more efficient way called expose" i think you dont know what more efficient means because withe the taskber you can see how many and what windows are open and you dont have to reach for the keyboard to use it.

  • the dock blows the taskbar away...i use apple tab and expose to switch between windows. it also looks better, and the top bar at the top of a mac looks better than a pc where its at the top of the window.

  • ever heard or quick launch!?? also little test for you open tons of safari windows and try to get to one JUST using the dock... u cant

  • Expose. Done.

  • i said just using the dock, exposee is not the dock

  • Go kill yourself. Also a little test for you, open tons of IE windows and try to get to one JUST using the dock. It'll take you forever because you'll have to open them one by one.

  • wtf are you an idiot? i was comparing the taskbar and the dock not IE and safari. but anyway just hit ctrl+N and it opens a new one. my point is on the taskbar you can switch between windows of the same app really easily , with the dock its not possible. guess you got owned big time.

  • Wtf are you an idiot? When I said kill yourself, I didn't mean for you to write me up love letters in between your masturbatory, nipple-rubbing sessions. I meant for you to commit suicide. You are saying that with the dock someone can't switch between programs on a Mac, but that can be done with

Windows. That is because the dock is not the same thing as the Windows taskbar, and in fact, Macs have their own, more efficient way of switching between windows - Expose. Guess you got owned big time.

  • Replace "programs" with "windows;" it was a typo. Since you are so riddled with errors, I had to bring it down to your level. ;)

  • last time i checked, you cant right click on a mac.

  • then you checked about 10 years ago REFRESH you can

just hold dont control and then click or if your using a mighty mouse theres a sensor built in that can detect right click

  • I have a Macbook and I just use two fingers on the touchpad to right click.

  • then ur quite retarded cuz you can...even on the 'books.

  • And why have a bar on the Top and the Bottom when all you need to do is like Windows.

One bar is all you need and it makes your desktop SO much better looking and give you more space. Even if you can take the BIG bottom bar away and make it smaller. Why not just take it away and do it like Windows. So much better looking, and easier to use

  • Oh dear. In Windows you keep the most shortcuts in the Windows start menu. You don't have them all on your desktop. On my desktop I just keep Shortcuts to some Maps that i want to have access to very fast and some game icons. In the Start menu you can have 8 standard shortcuts that ou can change to whatever you want.

In MAC. Wtf have they been tryin to do?

The stuffs work but you have them allover the screen, Why not just keep the shortcuts on one place. Not on a list thats shitass long

  • and it takes about an hour to load a lot of programs in the start menu...

  • Great Video:D

  • In response to 6:00 Ever heard of the quicklaunsh bar.?

Just put your Fav Icons there and oh about the huge usability of having only one MenuBar for all apps.

How many kilometers to you waste with your mouse per day to go up to the top of your desktop to klick on File...?

  • In response to 6:55

    windows has "show desktop"

  • The point is that it's 100x EASIER on Windows

  • No it's not. Once you have an automator workflow you never have to do it again. Then you just right click, and go to automator, and your workflow is there.

  • nice house

  • Your video shows a profound ignorance about what type of user interaction apple and microsoft offer in their os and libraries. Read about it: the differences are not about graphic appearance.

  • I often have 70 - 80 tabs open

And Windows Vista does have a sound mixer, before that I just used freewere stuff

  • Apple+A is the same thing as CTRL+A, what are you a fucking nit-picking asshole? Oh boy 1 more click, who the fuck cares. Are you saving your finger's energy for masturbating more?

  • taskbar has the option to put shortcuts on it >.>

  • you can take all the stuff off the screen to get to the desk top in 1 step aswell just right click the task bar and press show desk to. but would be better if there was just a button dedicated to that task

  • Enjoy your new screen? ;)

  • ohh hell yeah!

  • I'm so glad to know you got a new screen! That other one was just . . . *painful* to look at!

  • 50 seconds into your video, you finally batch renamed. However in Win XP/Vista it takes about 2 seconds. Way too many steps for something that should be simple.

  • "Way too many steps for something that should be simple."

That's the problem—Windows can ONLY do a simple rename. Nothing more. Automator allows you so many more options and much more customization over renaming. I don't believe for a SECOND that if Windows had this feature (but OS X did not) that you fanboys wouldn't be crowing about it and making videos showing it off.

  • "50 seconds into your video, you finally batch renamed. However in Win XP/Vista it takes about 2 seconds. Way too many steps for something that should be simple.

    "

That's because he was making a new workflow.

Protip: He can save that workflow and it will appear in his contextual menu from that point on.

    Automator is POWERFUL software.

  • In other words use of the OS is more extensive in Windows and thus the equiv of quit is executed upon closing the app and thus the threads that were being used to baby the app in theory are free but most of the time as we all know from win performance does not always happen.

  • no, the dock in functionality and its design is not the task bar, they cannot be compared. Why, it comes down to how application are handled in UNIX vs Windows in UNIX a child is made for the parent process and thus contained in faster multithreading and minimal use of the actual OS vs Windows that treats all as one general level of process. Thus the whole quit and what is running issue.

  • If they cannot be compared then why do some Mac fanboy kept claiming that Dock is better?

    They will always be compared.

  • you compare them as a feature but not as the same thing many try to compare them as the same type of application, they function however very differently.

  • I think it is better to compare the tasks they carry out and how the tasks are carried out... after all it is what is done that matters.

  • In other words the appropriate response to modly in this case would be "submit a request to apple to build a task bar so it can be that much closer to windows."

  • now show him how you only have to build the workflow once for future use for that specific automation.

  • owned!
