I wish this was true about me and my mom. My mom had a rough past, and she is miserable most of the time but i have to hold on to those amazing moments when I have a truly wonderful day with her. I love my mom and i know she tries her hardest to help us because we are in a bad spot right now, and since her and my dad aren't together it's really hard for her. One day it will all be over and I hope we can just be happy again.

I adore this song. I know how most would say that this reminds them of their mother, but for me it reminds me about my dad. Why, the first few times I heard it I thought she was talking about her dad. After I looked up the lyrics I saw that I was wrong, but I still always think about my dad whenever I hear this song. My dad would be the one to let me sleep on him or he would take me window shopping if I had a horrible day. It just seems something more like my dad would do. :]
