Buddha never call himself God, just people misunderstand & worship him as a God. By the way Buddhaism is not the Chinese religion, just happened to be many Chinese believe that religious. If you study the Buddha bible, they are not God, but Budda believe there is God in the air . things we do it goes around & come around.

@TheVenusangel yes ik that too, Buddhism came from India from the king Asoka, if Asoka didnt spread Buddhism through missionaries, many asian countries would of never adapted it or even learned about it the chinese just adapted it and put it into their own customs

@1992trueman yes Buddhism originally back then when it started never started out as a god religios thingy only a great teacher or savior when he died many centuries later the Indians of India that followed Hinduism made a spot for Buddhism to become a god and when the king Asoka started spreading Buddhism many Asian countries that adapted it took Buddha as a god, China may have taken Buddha as a god because of the goddess Kwan/Guan Yin for both looked very similar and had similar traits, =)
