  • How to stop my mind of interfering?

  • Great Vid.

  • "See the truth that thought, the outcome of the known, can never be in a state of experiencing. Experiencing is always the new; thinking is always the old. See the truth of this, and truth brings freedom-freedom from thought, the result. Then there is that which is beyond consciousness, which is neither sleeping nor waking, which is nameless: it is" JIddu Krishnamurti

  • i wonder about consciousness being brainwaves and having electromagnetic properties, or if its more of chemical reactions, a combination of both i guess. I wonder about two human beings brains being completely in sync with eachother in a highly powerfull field or consciousness, ( im not really sure how much electromagnetic fields affect consciousness so thats why i said a field of consciousness) would they experience the same thing? In this thought I am thinking of the brain as a sort of antenna

  • @2k0ol1 I think you have a misinterpretation of what "Consciousness" is. For simplicity, lets say you are a car, "brainwaves=the alternator turning" "Consciousness=the running engine".

Now for waves and chemicals. The entire Universe is made up of vibrating strings, "STRING Theory". Within this vibrating Universe, manifesting from these vibrating stings are the chemical process's. Stars, trees, oceans, you and me. This is my humble view

  • @daveff66 all experience is product of chemicals in your brain

  • your video isnt loading fast enough!! bah!! i want to watch it. i will later. very enlightening ;)

  • Nice. Very well said and well put.

  • This is deep and I think I'm too new at this to comment but I use to be one of those people who feared death and with Alex's techniques I know death is not the end of existence.

  • Actually I'm certified in NLP and Hypnotherapy. I haven't seen much of Derren Browns work. But one of the premises of NLP is that Map != Territory. Brain's experience != True reality.

Let me ask you this: Do you think consciousness can embody an object or another person... Or is it limited to your body and mind and nothing further?

You've clearly read up about this a fair bit so I'm compelled to ask you, in your view is the "soul" jsut a product of the ego?

  • One of the most publicly known experiments to prove the existence of perception outside the brain is based on Remote viewing and recalling a piece of specific information or a conversation someone is having in another room and then documenting it. Robert Bruce has talked about this in his work.

Apart from that there are a lot more experiments in Parapsychology institutes along similar lines. Ignoring evidence doesn't mean none exists.

  • I may have posted a video on this before or may not, however through meditation you can see the room around you with your eyes completely closed or from a different location altogether. I'm not talking about re-constructing imagery in the brain. This is perceiving reality outside the brain altogether in real-time. Doing this we can see a clear distinction between interpretation and experience.

  • I think you just answered your own question.

Interpretation is not the same as raw experience.

Does the world still exist once you die? How do you know? :)

  • The mind doesn't produce experience, it only interprets it. That's pretty much the foundation of any video I've made here.

  • Our survival is part of our life, and our life requires the ego to sustain itself.

If your body no longer exists, if your mind no longer exists, if the universe no longer exists, then what exists? you can say pure blackness, but black is a color.

It boils down to: The ego cannot know what exists, so ultimately the ego must die or be let go of before we experience what really exists beyond.

  • You can only get stuck in the personality when you compare and contrast. That's why it's worse only from that frame of reference.

It's easier to believe that death is something really terrible than to actually experience the death of the ego.

Good and bad are pretty poor terms for me to use, I can't really think of better ones to explain what I'm trying to say though. I'll see if I can rephrase it.

  • I understand this. People who leave negitive feedback dont, and its a shame. Explain your negitive feedback if you leave any guys. Like WaterBaby9408 shows how pathetic some people can be

  • doh...that hurts :D

next time, you speak it from your heart to others - an not from a paper and by look at yourself. before you cant, i commend dont come back to teach others ;)

  • fuckin weirdo

  • *bow*

  • Yes, this is coming from a good place. But theres still a place beyond good and evil.

  • thank you. that was very clear and inspiring..and u have hair!
