@Blargaha faith,faith is a key component and once you have experianced God it is easy to accept more and more. I have seen God move in my life multiple times and well i guess that my answer. We believe by faith not by sight. But there are being many discoveries made that support the Bible's sayings. I can't prove he exists, it takes faith.

@PockieGary There are no two sides.. the 7 days in the original Hebrew mean just what it says, literal 24-hour periods. Not weeks, months, years, decades or centuries, but a day. Hebrew has it's own word for indefinite time, and it was not chosen in this writing. You only get multiple interpretations from people who want to change what it says for their own purposes, but the Bible has been saying what it means for a good while now, no matter what Theologians, Atheists and such say.

Jesus died for us all, we are all sinners. Once our eyes are opened we can see how evil this is. In the mean time, trying to get "MicroFilums" to see that its blasphemy is like trying to make a blind man see the sun. Its not possible unitl Jesus Himself opens his eyes. Some of you people need to get a sense of humor. This is NOT blasphemy, and it's not disrespectful to God, Jesus...or Satan! How do ANY of you know what God likes or doesn't like? I'll bet most of you also post those annoying"if you don't post this, God will know and reject you in heaven" messages on Facebook. And BTW, my Mum has told me everything you're saying now, she still is Christian, but after I had a debate with her, even she is starting to have doubts. It was either God let us make our own decisions or make us robots with no choice in anything. Thus, the only real argument for christianity is gone, I am not scared by hell, I am not intimidated by people calling me a sinner. The only sins a human can commit is are sins towards his fellow man, and those weigh a lot more heavy than those from a piece of bronze age litterature..

I am just pointing out that Jesus birthday was not orginally in december, but in may until the roman emperor at the time thought it would be better to have it in december.

@Blargaha faith,faith is a key component and once you have experianced God it is easy to accept more and more. I have seen God move in my life multiple times and well i guess that my answer. We believe by faith not by sight. But there are being many discoveries made that support the Bible's sayings. I can't prove he exists, it takes faith.

@Blargaha sorry for joining in an ended debate. I move in the 'scientific circles' too. in fact i am doing a degree involving all three sciences with the intent of teaching them to Secondary school.
I believe science says that something exists. It doesnt say who or what, but lends itself very nicely to a deist belief. (that a god exists but doesnt interact with the world he/she/it created)
I believe in the Christian God,largely because of personal experience and loosely because of archaeology

@hangman994Videos God doesn't send people into the fires of hell (real place no quote marks needed), because "hey, he doesn't like them." he sends them there because that is where all those who choose to rebel against him are sent. Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God is not the evil one, but he IS just and so he cannot allow sin to go unpunished. That's why there's a hell, and that's why people go to it, because we rebel/sin

@hangman994Videos the caring and loving part comes in that Romans 5:8 - but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Through Christ's death, we have our sins forgiven and can be brought up out of danger from hell and into a relationship with God.

@PockieGary There are no two sides.. the 7 days in the original Hebrew mean just what it says, literal 24-hour periods. Not weeks, months, years, decades or centuries, but a day. Hebrew has it's own word for indefinite time, and it was not chosen in this writing. You only get multiple interpretations from people who want to change what it says for their own purposes, but the Bible has been saying what it means for a good while now, no matter what Theologians, Atheists and such say.
