I believe more that Mary was a virgin at the time of conception. She could have conceived via God power maybe like they say Agnes of God became pregnant with say God sending the dove as a holy spirit to bring forth life. Second thought is that Eholim or some extra terrestrial higher being did artificial insemination. There is one link between an alien patriarch named Sasha that was around at the time of Zeanu the Scorpion King. I think this went to Greece & back to Mary.

Anne Rice is obviously very intelligent, and I respect her (as well as other learned people who maintain the idea / belief of the perpetual virgin Mary)... but it hurts me to think that Mary - a married woman, would go her entire life without knowing the beauty and intimacy of a sexual union with her husband...

There would have been nothing wrong with her having a normal married relationship with her husband, so I think she did.

AS I've said before,your obvious faith and sincerity shine forth. So many non religious people are turned off by what we perceive as false faith,especially when said people attempt to judge us.Mrs.Rice,I can truly believe that you practice what you preach and a person whose views I can understand and perhaps,move me to think even harder about my own religious views.
