oh yeah you're right. sorry, my French is really rusty. I believe a Black Mirror is actually called a claude glass, which is a little convex, making the picture darker. they're also sometimes given as a nickname to camera obscura.

When I don't listen to the lyrics, this song reminds me of a twisted circus from the 50's where everything is in claymation at like 12 frames per second. (I.E. pretty scary) This song is so dark I love it.
