Why don't you use subweapons or relics? It takes time to defeat bosses only using the whip.

@ZaAmOOnA If you're talking about the Frost Elemental, its in the Dark Palace of Waterfalls. There is a room that looks different than all the others in the stage, with rock floors, and you can fall pretty far down. You have to climb all the way to the top of this room, making a few jumps where you have to catch the railings with your whip. When you get high enough up you'll notice snow on the ground. Wish I could be more descriptive, but its hard to give direction to get there. Good luck.

this is the only 3d castlevania game other then castlevania 64 that i beleive is worthy of the series

joachim happens to be my favorite boss which I was quite happy about being able to play as him which rocked even more

The Trevor's, Grant's and Sypha's doppelgangers are the most hard to beat in the series (but no so much). At the last, all of them are easy bosses

hard? more like insane mode believe me, I am playing it for the second time, the first time I played, after about 2000 deaths, I couldnt look at the game for 2 weeks.

It really is a pity what they did with Joachim, They made it so if you don't go in knowing how to beat him he's almost impossible, and if you do know he's insanely easy, Incidently, it is possible to kill him without breaking his magic orbs, When he does the lighting to his sword and throws just one you can hit the sword back at him, through his shield...

Yeah, it was Leon's evil doubles. Remember, this game chronologically takes place before any other Castlevania.

The only thing I miss in the dual Doppleganger fight is they don't do cool guy poses before I fought them. =(

It's very dangerous when you were frozen by the Frost Elemental at the last minute.

Fortunately Leon is invincible during the stun breaking animation, and yeah, it was damn lucky, but I knew about those invincible frames, so... Still, I was being kinda reckless.

I cann't beleive how many video games [have used the idea of the doppelgangers. Devil may cry 3's two headless swordmsen, prince of persia, the two thrones, twin swordsmen guys (4th boss, I think) and many more i forgot about, and now this! But usually two bosses at once are a stamp of difficulty, these are way too easy (but I'm assuming it's just that you're good.)

Agni and Rudra in DMC3 are difficult, but I'm not real great at that game (although I managed to beat DMD!). These guys were pushovers. Fun though.

But the concept of the doppelganger it's an exact image of one person but mostly evil, Agni & rudra are most like a twin swords that help eachother (fire & wind), besides the idea of the doppelganger in the castlevanias series is commonly used since the very origin o the series.

The Doppelganger in CV3 is one of the hardest boss fights ever to me, unless I'm using Grant, then it's marginally easier because you have increased mobility.

Dark Palace of Waterfalls, beyond that rock door that seems to be shut and inaccessible on the right side of the map and inaccessible, but a Heavy armor I think can break it. You have to direct one of it's attacks there in order to break it open.
