I dont think rt 128 is a quiet zone, Ive been there a couple times and some trains usually give horn under that bridge but i usually never hear horns while im at rt 128 station
Hmm maybe I should take a railfan trip there sometime then.
And on that note I think Forest Hills is also not a quiet zone because MBCR engineers regularly give horn when passing through the station (even if I don't wave)

Oh and Hyde Park? I hear trains giving horn regulatory to. But i don't know i will have to look it up.

Hyde park too, and I think I've seen a video of an MBTA commuter train giving horn before passing through Readville (which is also in Hyde Park).
Maybe the quiet zone is from Sharon to the MA/RI border.
