Geo metro is the exact same car as the suzuki swift.  Manufactured at the same plant in Ingersoll, Ontario (Canada), 6 months out of the year a geo sticker was slapped on, the other 6 months a suzuki label. The convertibles and earlier models were made in Japan; if the VIN's second digit is C it was made in Canada, J means Japan.

in australia we had the same shit but in two forms.suzuki likc that one in the clip,3 cylinder,massive 1 litre .we call them cino's.also a 4 cylinder,1.3(g13a) called a swift.the 1.3 had a twin cam option bno factory turbo.HOLDEN had the same car re-badged called a barina.they are all crap.sorry dude.

Taco, that clutch is 6" in diameter. The massive torque of the engine makes it slip. After 177,000 miles, my Metro slips as well. But I can get back up my hill by spraying BraKleen into the hole in the bellhousing an wait 2 minutes. My slipping water pump belt makes neighbors think I got a turbo.
