Other than that, I find this storyline with Jack and his posttraumatic stress disorder pretty interesting. Def better than the very much used storylines where people die, are gone for a while and then come back from the dead, shocking everyone. Have lost track of how many times that's happened to Jack.
This story is good and more realistic than usually.
@danishgirl83 - If they were actually portraying PTSD in a realistic way with Jack I would totally agree with your comment but he is just putting me off with the cartoon buffoonery! This is a genuine condition that people go through after experiencing extreme stress and he's overacting to the point of caricature. He's supposed just escaped from captivity but I still keep expecting Jim Carrey to burst on to the set and say 'why are ya tryin to be ME?!!'. He's no method actor that's for sure!!
Complt agree with your angle, his acting is not memorable. Unrealistic how he came back and fought for Jen for some time before the PTSD became known. Just think the storyline in general is better than the fake deaths etc. Generally think that serious illness, mentally as well as physically, is treated pretty superficially - like when they have a cancer storyline. It's usually something with chemo, a scarf to cover the bald head and some tiredness - alrighty then...
@danishgirl83 - Don't get me wrong, I know it's a soap so I'm not expecting Robert De Niro or Al Pacino but Jesus why can't the man deliver the lines without pulling those ridiculous faces and reducing every scene to slapstick comedy? You're right though serious illness is handled very bad in DOOL. People are diagnosed with cancer and miraculously cured after a visit to Lexie. No pills, no chemotherapy/radiotherapy, no nothing and then after a few weeks they're cured. Just like real life then.

@nasibification First Quad of Steph/Phillip/Mel/Nathe was horrible writing that quad shifted so many times it felt like the Blair Witch Project kinda made me nauseous. Unfair to all actors involved on how it ended, especially the writing for the many shifts. These guys are supposedly the IT geniuses that hacked into the site in the first place so shouldn't they be aware of GPS tracking on mobile phones and already have destroyed both of their phones from the get go. Unfortunately, even though they know about Chad's family connections they don't seem to know Mel's connection to Victor through Maggie so they're going to be in more trouble than they know once the Kyriakis machine starts running.
@67DrWatson - yeah these IT geniuses really don't come off as being all that smart. Was also wondering if the Horton town square has surveillance cameras? You would think so b/c it's inside and with a lot of shops etc. So chosing to hold somebody up at gun point there seems weird.
