Science and religion are two entirely different subjects. Science = truth, proven laws, encompasses everything. Religion = lies, unprovable, superstition, relies on science for credibility (fails miserably), in reality just an ideology created by a bunch of power mongers consisting of bullshit beliefs and traditions in order to supplant the true identity of nations, groups, individuals, goverments...etc. Science predates religion, always has.

Hey, read your comments & felt it is quite unjust to make strong comments without studying the subject.

I mean to carry a gross misunderstanding of spirituality one can't judge it. Take some pain & explore by asking questions rather than making judgements.

If you are a science freak may I suggest that you read some biography or atleast philosphocial statemnets made by accomplished scientists/mathematician to your surprise you will see that they endorse/approve religious/spiritual learnings.

While sciene is like proveable theoroms, spiritulity is like postulates accepted by some people. I would request you to take up the challenge & prove the postulates by investing time & efort by studying & need be re-proving them.

It is interesting how Science and Spirituality mesh in this culture. The United States has more or less discounted this way of life, saying that Science and the Divine can never coexist. Why do they say that, when people in other cultures seem to be doing it just fine?

I think you're right. The only problem I see is that the American culture doesn't take the holistic approach and likes to partition each aspect as a different component. Life is basically intertwined with everything, you can't really separate one thing from another. It's like saying I can eat food, but not drink water.

The water got dirty cause of industry pollution. The ganga water has many medicinal value but it is gettin degraded by pollution

Yeah. How would you feel if you found out the Jordan River in Israel was poluted? Many Christians consider it's waters to be sacred and hold baptisims there all the time. Other pilgrims bring the water back for friends and family who couldn't go. If all religions can agree on anything...it is on these points...the earth is sacred and so is the human soul. For they are gifts of the Divine.

Government should do something about it. Organize a small units that patrols the banks of the river and only allow certain things in/around the river.
