  • Actually the tuner market in America has grown quite a bit in recent years. I believe Ford was originally afraid a 300 HP Focus with better handling than the infamous 300 HP Mustang would hurt Mustang sales. If Ford is smart America will be getting a version of the RS now that the Mustang GT is bumped up to 400+ HP, but that still might take a bite out of V6 Mustang sales which are a majority of the Mustangs sold. You're right though, 30K is a bit high for a tuner V6 over here.

  • Europeans have very low car standards.

  • @Neckbonekat1029 The European Focus is better than the U.S. Focus. Of course by now they are the same of course modified for their perspective market.

  • @rowsdower12 The only European Focus that is better than the U.S. version is the RS, not the one she said she was driving. Those lucky bastards got that Focus RS and we got a crappy eco car they should have gotten. We got the SVT version but it sucks compared to the RS.

  • @Neckbonekat1029 Totally agree. Unfortnately there is no market for it. At least for Ford in the U.S. Americans equate small with being cheap. I know its a niche' car anyway but I don't know if there is much of a business case to bring it here. Maybe down the road. right now we get the Focus ST which is between the normal Focus and the RS. I don't think Americans can swallow paying 30k or more for a Focus. it just doesn't have that pedigree. Ya know?

  • Damn , this English accent is sexy

  • hahaha... here in the states a Focus is a very small car!
